PROPOSED TAIERI-RIDGE RABBIT DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that after the expiry of one month from the date of this publication a petition signed by a majority of the ratepayers within the area of land described in the Schedule hereto and praying that the said area of land shall be constituted a rabbit district under the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, and its amendments, will be presented to His Excellency the Governor-General. The signatories to the said petition therein consent to the levy of a general rate on the land within the said area on the acreage basis as provided by section 65, subsection (4), of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928.
