A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster’s residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 36 36 perches.
Being Lot 18 on D.P. 2523, and being part of Section 126, Hutt District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 323, folio 113 (Wellington Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of July, 1948.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil-conservation purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 84 acres 1 rood 10 perches.
Being Lots 25, 26, 28, 29, and 30 of Reserve 1263, Block IV, Otaio Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificates of Title, Volume 158, folio 88, Volume 214, folio 251, Volume 136, folio 67, Volume 136, folio 66, and Volume 134, folio 289 (Canterbury Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of June, 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for broadcasting purposes (site for studio); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 11·5 perches.
Being Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and part of Lot 10 on D.P. 11429, and being portion of Allotments 249 and 250 of the Town of Hamilton West, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 326, folio 262 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of July, 1948.
