Altering the Boundaries of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power District so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District comprising portion of the Waimarino County and bounded by a line commencing at Trig. A (Totem), being a point on the southern boundary of that county, and proceeding westerly and southerly and westerly along that boundary, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1930, page 2096, to the western boundary of Moawhango Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Tunutara and Trig. A (Totem); thence easterly along that right line to Trig. A (Totem), the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 34, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department, and thereon outlined in green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of May, 1948.

Land taken for Housing Purposes in Block X, Christchurch Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of piece of land taken: 2 roods 14 perches. Being Lot 4, D.P. 9643 (part Rural Section 840), and other part Rural Section 840.

Situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7773.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123832, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of May, 1948.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126825, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of May, 1948.
