NOTICE is hereby given that on the 29th December, 1947, the following resolution was passed by Radio Products, Limited, as a special resolution in accordance with section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that John Gordon Frear, Public Accountant, of Auckland, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

NOTICE OF REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of G. A. Gamman and Company, Limited.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Hamilton District, dated the 12th day of November, 1947, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £42,000 in 42,000 shares of one pound (£1) each to £21,000 in 42,000 shares of ten shillings (10s.) each, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 9th day of December, 1947. The said minute is dated the 23rd day of December, 1947.

“The capital of the company is £21,600 divided into 42,000 shares of ten shillings (10s.) each. At the date of the registration of this minute each share is to be deemed to be fully paid up.”

Precise time of marking out privilege applied for: 11.30 a.m. on 9th December, 1947.

Date and number of miner's right: No. 86827; 4th December, 1947.

Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points: Commencing in Lowburn and Stratford's Creeks at the existing intakes of Water-race Licence No. 1863, following thence the course of the said race and terminating at the southern boundary of Mr. Redhead's property.

Length and intended course of race: 1 mile 67 chains south-easterly.

Points of intake: Two, one in Lowburn Creek and one in Stratford's Creek.

Estimated time and cost of construction: Already constructed.

Mean depth and breadth: 1 ft. by 1 ft. 9 in.

Number of heads to be diverted: Three heads from Stratford's Creek; two heads from Lowburn Creek.

Purpose for which water is to be used: Mining, irrigation, and domestic.

Proposed term of licence: Forty-two years.

Length and intended course of race: 2 miles 40 chains southerly.

Estimated time and cost of construction: Already constructed.

Mean depth and breadth: 4 ft. by 1 ft. 3 in.

Number of heads to be diverted: Six.

Purpose for which water is to be used: Irrigation and domestic.

Proposed term of licence: Forty-two years.

WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Waima County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000), authorized to be raised by the Waima County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the creation of fifty-one concrete bridges, the said Waima County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-ninth of one penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property within the Waima County; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Waima County Council held on the 9th day of January, 1948.
