A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence); and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the nineteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 29·9 perches.
Being Lot 5 on D.P. 33399, and being part of Section 6, Block VII,
Tauranga Survey District, and being the residue of the land
comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 874,
folio 162 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of January, 1948.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the purposes of a quarry; and I do also declare that this Proclama-
tion shall take effect on and after the nineteenth day of January,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 6 acres 3 roods
37 perches.
Being part Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 36A 2B 1 Block.
Situated in Block XVI, Pakaumanu Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 33612.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126188, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 13th day of December, 1947.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eighteen of the Forest Act, 1921-22, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State
forest.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.-SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Bruce County, containing
by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of
Section 2, Block III, Akatore Survey District, and being the land
comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 116, folio 176.
As the same is delineated on plan No. 215/7, deposited in the Head
Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of December, 1947.
