Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Brigadier) F. L. Hunt, O.B.E., relinquishes the appointments of Quartermaster-General, Army Headquarters, and Third Military Member of the Army Board. Dated 30th April, 1948.

Lieutenant-Colonel and Quartermaster G. P. O'Leary, O.B.E., is posted to the Retired List. Dated 13th March, 1948.

Captain and Quartermaster J. H. Kearney is posted to the Retired List. Dated 16th April, 1948.

Temp. Captain R. F. Joyce, from the N.Z. Temporary Staff, is granted a short-service commission as from 1st April, 1948, in the rank of Captain, with seniority from 1st December, 1944, and is appointed Quartermaster, Burnham Military Camp. Dated 1st April, 1948.

Ernest Bickley Read to be 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.), and is seconded to the Christchurch Boys’ High School Cadets, Area 10. Dated 2nd March, 1948.

Appointment of an Officer of the Royal New Zealand Air Force
