THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Canterbury Land District, Borough of Lyttelton, known as Cornwall Road, fronting Lot 8, D.P. 9058, part of Rural Section 1.
Also the north-western side of all that portion of street in the said land district and borough, known as Canterbury Street, fronting part of Lot 8, D.P. 9058, part of Rural Section 1.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126584, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 12th day of May, 1948
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, viz. :—
“ The New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of New Plymouth, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply—
“ (a) To the southern side of the portion of Lemon Street adjoining Section 1591, Town of New Plymouth, Certificate of Title, Volume 127, folio 3 (Taranaki Registry); nor
“ (b) To the eastern side of the portion of Gover Street adjoining the said Section 1591, Town of New Plymouth ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of Lemon Street or the eastern side of the portion of Gover Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Akaroa County Council on the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, viz. :—
“ That the Akaroa County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Akaroa, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply in respect of the southern side of the portion of the unnamed road fronting Reserve 52 and part R.S. 207, Block X, Pigeon Bay Survey District ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of unnamed road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of forty feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.
SCHEDULE
THE southern side of all that portion of unnamed road in the Canterbury Land District, County of Akaroa, fronting Reserve 52 and Rural Section 207, Block X, Pigeon Bay Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126657, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the thirteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—
“ The Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Tiverton Road fronting Allotment 148, Parish of Titirangi, and comprised in Certificate of Title 52/244. ”

THE southern side of all that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Tiverton Road, fronting Allotment 148, Parish of Titirangi. Revocation of Warrant certifying Inebriates’ Homes under the Reformatory Institutions Act, 1909

PURSUANT to section three of the Reformatory Institutions Act, 1909, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General dated the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in the Gazette on the seventeenth day of the same month, certifying the following homes to be Inebriates’ Homes under the said Act :—
The Salvation Army Men’s Industrial Home, Epsom, Auckland.
The Salvation Army Men’s Industrial Home, Miramar, Wellington.
The Salvation Army Men’s Industrial Home, Addington, Christchurch.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 6th day of May, 1948.

Gerard William Sampson, Esquire, A.M.I.C.E., District Engineer, Public Works Department, Wanganui,
to be a non-elective member of the Manawatu Catchment Board for a term commencing on the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and terminating on the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 5th day of May, 1948.
