AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Crematorium Loan, 1946, £55,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the Cemeteries Act, 1908, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £55,000, authorized to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of redeeming at maturity the loan of £55,000, to be known as 'The Crematorium Loan, 1946, £55,000', the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-twentieths of one penny (20) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the annual value) of the Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be paid yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off."

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:---
"That the Morrinsville Borough Council proceeds to raise the sum of three thousand five hundred pounds (£3,500), authorized to be raised by the said Council by special order gazetted on the 16th day of October, 1947, page 1674, and to be known as the 'Morrinsville Recreation-ground Improvement Loan, 1947'; that the term of the said loan be twenty years and the rate of interest thereon £3 5s. per £100 (34 per cent.).
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of three thousand five hundred pounds (£3,500), to be known as the 'Recreation-ground Improvement Loan, 1947,' authorized to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, for the improvement of the Morrinsville Recreation-ground, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-half pence (4d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Morrinsville; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off."

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, that the following special resolution was passed on the 14th day of April, 1948:--

THE liquidator of Watson and Derbidge, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, hereby fixes the 10th day of May, 1948, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.
