Individual Valve-type Hearing Aids.—Notice of Approval of Additional Hearing Aids under the Provisions of the Social Security Hospital Benefits for Outpatients Regulations 1947

Pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 4 of the Social
Security Hospital Benefits for Outpatients Regulations 1947,
I, Mabel Bowden Howard, Minister of Health, give notice that I
have approved of the following valve-type hearing aids for the
purposes of these regulations:—

Classification of Roads in Waikohu County

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the
Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motorvehicle Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby
revoke the Warrants described in the First Schedule hereto so far
as they relate to the classification of the roads described in the
Second Schedule hereto, and doth hereby approve of the Waikohu
County Council's proposed classification of the roads described in
the Second Schedule hereto and situated in the Waikohu County.

Amending the Conditions respecting the taking of Imported Game and Native Game in the North Canterbury Acclimatization District

In exercise of the powers vested in him by the Animals Protection
and Game Act, 1921–22, the Minister of Internal Affairs doth
hereby vary the notification dated 16th April, 1948, made under
that Act, and published in Gazette No. 21 of the 19th day of the same
month at page 413, by revoking the proviso to Restriction No. 1 included under the heading “General Conditions” appearing on
page 413 thereof, and by substituting the following proviso:—

“Provided that in the North Canterbury Acclimatization
District no person shall continue shooting later than 6 p.m. on each
and every day during the open season.”
