NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions have been made in respect of applications for licences.

Dearsley's Ltd. P.O. Box 466, Auckland, has applied for an extension of its existing licence so as to permit the establishment of a branch upper-machining room at Northcote.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

T. H. Finlayson, care of Power-station, Karapiro, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed service-station premises at Omokoroa on the Main Highway between Katikati and Tauranga.

T. J. Clarke, 2 Exeter Street, Waimate, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from three pumps to be installed on proposed garage and service-station premises at Studholme.

W. Schedewy, Pukapuka, North Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump already installed outside garage premises at Pukapuka.

A. J. Truesdale, Kaingaroa, North Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside garage premises at Kaingaroa.

S. P. Vickery, Gore Motors, 16 Irk Street, Gore, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed inside garage premises at 16 Irk Street, Gore.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 6th May, 1948, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Acting-Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
