Declaring Portion of Railway Land at Tuatapere to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the
land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to
the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 13 perches.
Being part Section 6, Railway Reserve, Block XIII, Waiau Survey
District.

Situated in Wallace County. (S.O. 5764.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9287, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured
sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 12th day of April, 1948.

Additional Land at Kopuawhara taken for the Purposes of the East
Coast Main Trunk Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, the Government Railways
Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the East Coast
Main Trunk Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 1 rood 5Β·4 perches.
Being part Lot 7, Deeds Plan 436, being portion of Block 4, Kopua-
whara Crown Grant District.

Situated in Block III, Mahanga Survey District, Wairoa County.
(S.O. 2298, red.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9283, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of April, 1948.

Land taken for Housing Purposes in Blocks XIII and XIV,
Komakorau Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of April, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 12 acres 0 roods
16 perches.
Being Lot 6, D.P. 3014, being part Allotments 178, 179, and 181,
Parish of Kirikiri, and being the whole of the land comprised
and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 142, folio 175
(Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1948.
