then thence generally along the eastern side of that railway to
the middle of Great South Road ; thence along the middle of
Great South Road to and along the eastern boundary of the City
Tribal Committee Area, as hereinbefore described, to the point of
commencement.

Heranui Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in
Block XII, Kaipara Survey District, on the shores of the Tasman
Sea, in line with a right line between Trig. Station D in the said
Block XII and Trig. Station C in Block XIII of the said survey
district, and running north-westerly, easterly, and then south-
easterly along the said shores, the shores of the Kaipara Harbour,
and the left bank of the Kaipara River to the mouth of the Te
Wahanui Stream; thence south-westerly along a right line to Trig.
Station C aforesaid; and along another right line passing
through the aforementioned Trig. Station D to the point of com-
mencement, and including therein Motukuru and Waikauri Islands.

Tipua Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in
Block I, Kumcu Survey District, on the shores of the Tasman Sea,
in line with a right line between a point in Block III, Kumcu
Survey District, being the south-western corner of Lot 1 as shown
on the plan numbered 9424, deposited in the office of the District
Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Parrow No. 1 Block,
and Trig. Station F in Block XIII, Waiwera Survey District, and
running north-westerly along the shores of the Tasman Sea to the
southern boundary of the Haranui Tribal Committee Area as herein-
before described ; thence north-easterly generally along that southern
boundary, and a right line being that boundary produced to the right
bank of the Kaipara River; thence down that right bank to and along
the shores of the Kaipara Harbour, the left bank of the Ngapuke
Creek, the left bank of the Makaran River, and the left bank of
the Rauhori Stream, to and along the southern boundaries of Allot-
ments 98, 49, 50, 51, 52, and 52a of the Parish of Komokoriki, the
southern boundaries of Allotments 25, 24, and the western portion
of Allotment 23 of the Parish of Ahuroa to the north-western corner
of Allotment 134 of the Parish of Puhoi; thence southerly generally
along a right line to the north-western corner of Allotment 50 of
Puhoi Parish, along another right line to the north-western corner
of Allotment 112 of the Parish of Waiwera, and along another right line
to Trig. Station E aforesaid: thence south-westerly along a
right line, passing through the south-western corner of Lot 1
aforementioned to the point of commencement.

Reweti Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in
Block I, Waitakerei Survey District, being the confluence of the
Waitakerei River with the Tasman Sea, and running northerly
generally along the shores of the Tasman Sea to the southern boundary
of the Tipua Tribal Committee Area as hereinbefore described ; thence
easterly generally along that southern boundary to the western
boundary of the City Tribal Committee Area as hereinbefore
described; thence southerly generally along a right line, passing
through Trig. Station B in Block VI, Waitemata Survey District,
to the southern shores of the Waitemata Harbour; thence along the
said shores of the Waitemata Harbour, to and up the left bank of
the Taikato Creek, to and up the left bank of the Huruhuru Creek
to the eastern boundary of Lot 6, as shown on the plan numbered
26118, deposited as aforesaid, being parts of Allotments 15 and 5
of the Parish of Waiparisa, and along the eastern boundary of the
said Lot 6 to its south-eastern corner; thence south-westerly along
a right line to the easternmost corner of Lot 19, as shown on the
plan numbered 1467, deposited as aforesaid, being part of
Allotment 6a of the Parish of Waiparisa; thence westerly along
a right line to the mouth of the Waitakerei River, being the point
of commencement.

Owairaka Tribal Committee Area

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in
Block I, Waitakerei Survey District, being the confluence of the
Waitakerei River with the sea, and running easterly generally along
the southern boundary of the Reweti Tribal Committee Area as
hereinbefore described, to and along the right bank of the Huruhuru
Creek, to and up the left bank of the Taikato Creek to its source ;
thence down the right bank of the Taikato Creek, to and up the left
bank of the Henderson Creek to its source; thence down the right
bank of the Henderson Creek, to and along the mean high-water
mark on the right bank of the Taikato Creek aforesaid, to and along
the mean high-water mark on the generally southern shores of the
Waitemata Harbour to the western boundary of the City Tribal
Committee Area as hereinbefore described; thence southerly
generally along that western boundary to the mean high-water
mark on the northern shores of Manukau Harbour; thence generally
south-westerly and northerly along the high-water mark on the
northern shores aforesaid and the shores of the Tasman Sea to the
point of commencement, and including therein Pollen and Traherne
Islands.

Aotea Tribal Committee Area

All that area being the whole of the island known as Great
Barrier Island, and including adjacent small islands.

Exemption Order under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister
of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions
of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they
relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the
person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following
provision shall apply :—

A motor-driver’s licence issued under the Motor-drivers Regula-
tions 1940 to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule
hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the
course of his employment on a farm or market-garden of the
respective employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule,
but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen
years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

P. Hall and Sons, Hope, Nelson, have applied for a licence
to resell motor-spirit from one pump already installed on their
property at Hope.

Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., 1 St. Hill Street, Wanganui,
has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to
be installed on garage premises at 1 St. Hill Street, Wanganui.

D. T. Moffat (by Bell and Taylor, Barristers and Solicitors,
Christchurch) has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from
two pumps to be installed outside proposed garage premises at
the corner of Blenheim and Junction Roads, Upper Riccarton,
Christchurch.

R. B. Win, Cambridge Street, Richmond, has applied for
permission to shift one pump from its present position inside garage
premises at Cambridge Street, Richmond, to a site outside the
garage, and to install an additional pump to make a total of two
on the proposed new site.

A. D. Currie, corner of Dee and Earnshaw Streets, Invercargill,
has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to
be installed outside garage premises at the corner of Dee and
Earnshaw Streets, Invercargill.

E. H. Thompson, Paroa, Greymouth, has applied for a licence
to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside store
premises at Paroa.

T. Clements, 4 North Terrace, Geraldine, has applied for per-
mission to shift one pump from the present position inside garage
premises at 4 North Terrace, Geraldine, to a new site outside the
garage premises.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than 25th March, 1948, submit
any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
