Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Alexander Bartlett, of the Public Trust Office, Dannevirke, to be deputy of the District Public Trustee, Dannevirke, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters from any cause, and all previous Warrants appointing any deputy of the said District Public Trustee have been revoked.

Details: 1. Black buoy in position 029° one cable from north-west end of mole is missing from station.
2. Black light-buoy in position 095° 1·75 cables from south-east end of mole—light extinguished.
3. Black light-buoy in position 073° 3·3 cables from south-east end of mole—missing from station.
4. Red buoy in position 253° 0·4 cables from fixed green light on south-west end of jetty—missing from station.

Danger Area

Details: Grave hazards will, after 31st January and throughout the calendar year 1948, exist in the area bounded as follows :— Beginning with a point at lat. 10° 15′ N., long. 160° 35′ E., north along the meridian of 160° 35′ E. to a point in lat. 12° 45′ N., long. 160° 35′ E.; thence east along the parallel of lat. 12° 45′ N. to a point at lat. 12° 45′ N., long. 163° 55′ E.; thence south along the meridian of 163° 55′ E. to a point at lat. 10° 15′ N., long. 163° 55′ E.; thence west to the point of beginning.

Masters of vessels are hereby warned to keep well clear of the above danger area.
