Wanganui City.—Town of Wanganui
PART Suburban Section 4: Area, 12·7 perches. Purchase-price, £75.
Lot 258, D.P. 2286, being part Section 227, Right Bank of Wanganui River: Area, 29·2 perches. Purchase-price, £20.
Part Lots 24, 27, and 28, Deeds Plan 49, being part Suburban Section 14: Area, 16·5 perches. Purchase-price, £60.
Part Suburban Section 30: Area, 20 perches. Purchase-price, £75.
Part Suburban Section 4 is known as No. 139, Harrison Street, Wanganui. It has good soil, is flat, and has city water-supply available.
Lot 258 is situated at the corner of Raupo and Rata Streets, Castlecliff. The section is flat and sandy, and water-supply is available.
Part Lots 24, 27, and 28 comprise a section known as No. 18 Barrack Street, Aramoho. The land is flat with a good soil loam, and is situated about three-quarters of a mile from the Chief Post-office.
Part Suburban Section 30 is situated in Keith Street, about one mile from the Chief Post-office. The land is level, and the city water-supply is available on the section.

Lands in the Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 11th February, 1947.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 p.m. on Monday, 24th March, 1947.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, State Fire Building, Wellington, on Wednesday, 26th March, 1947, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.

Akitio County.—Pongaroa Township
SECTION 17, Block VII: Area, 2 roods 32 perches. Capital value, £30; half-yearly rent, 15s.
Weighted with £10 10s. (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising felling, grassing, stumping, and fencing.
This section is situated in the Township of Pongaroa, half a mile from the post-office and quarter of a mile from the school. Access is by thirty miles of good metalled road from Pahiatua. The section is flat and all in grass, with fair quality soil inclined to be swampy.

Kaitieke County.—Hunua Survey District
Sections 73 and 81, Block VI: Area, 4 acres 1 rood 23 perches. Capital value, £21; half yearly rent, 10s. 6d.
Weighted with £12 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising felling and fencing.
This land is situated in the Township of Kakahi, one mile from the post-office and school and a quarter of a mile from the railway-station. Access is by metalled road. The area is generally undulating and is inclined to be wet in winter.

Kaitieke County.—Kaitieke Survey District
Section 13, Block III: Area, 1,083 acres. Capital value, £275; half-yearly rent, £6 17s. 6d.
Weighted with £85 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising sheep-dip, fencing, and felling.
The property is situated on Kawautahi Road, eight miles from Owhango Township and twenty miles from Taumarunui. It comprises high precipitous country rising to an elevation of 2,000 ft. above sea-level, and is heavily covered with second growth. The land is suitable only for grazing.

NOTICE is hereby given that Lucy Wood, of Oropi, near Tauranga, Married Woman, was this day adjudged bankrupt; and I hereby summon a meeting of creditors to be held at the Courthouse, Tauranga, on Monday, the 17th day of February, 1947, at 2.30 o’clock p.m.
