NOTICE has been received, under the hand of the Returning Officers of the several Rabbit Boards mentioned in the Schedule hereto, that the persons whose names are set under the name of each such Board in the said Schedule have been duly elected as members of that Board pursuant to the provisions in that behalf of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of Intention to take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 3rd day of March, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land described in the said First Schedule is required, and the 30th day of June, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land described in the said Second Schedule is required, and the 12th day of January, 1948, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Block XV, Tapapa Survey District, containing by admeasurement four hundred and fifty-five (455) acres twenty-six (26) perches, more or less, being Rangitanuku 3B Block and part of Rangitanuku 3A Block, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 812, folio 261 (Auckland Registry).
SECOND SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Block II, Carlyle Survey District, containing by admeasurement one hundred and nineteen (119) acres one (1) rood six (6) perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 3758, part Section 476, Patea District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 94, folio 278 (Taranaki Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block II, Carlyle Survey District, containing by admeasurement sixty-six (66) acres and thirty-two (32) perches, more or less, being Lot 3 on Deposited Plan 3758, part Section 476, Patea District, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 94, folio 279 (Taranaki Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block II, Carlyle Survey District, containing by admeasurement one hundred and twenty-two (122) acres, more or less, being part Section 479, Patea District, as shown on Deposited Plan 729, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 30, folio 108 (Taranaki Registry).

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks I and V, Maungakawa Survey District, containing by admeasurement ninety-eight (98) acres, more or less, being Lots 2, 3, and 4 on Deposited Plan 15447, being part of Motumaho No. 2 Block, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 353, folio 172 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks V and IX, Maungakawa Survey District, containing by admeasurement seventy-one (71) acres three (3) roods twenty-four (24) perches, being Lot 6 on Deposited Plan 7012, being part of Kuranui Block, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 642, folio 46 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block V, Maungakawa Survey District, containing by admeasurement forty-eight (48) acres two (2) roods, more or less, being part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 13343, being parts of Motumaho No. 1 and Kuranui Blocks, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 318, folio 27 (Auckland Registry).

Exemption Order under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:—
A motor-driver’s licence issued under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in Column I of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment on a farm or market-garden of the respective employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Order under Section 76 of the Health Act, 1920, to Shipping Companies and the Public generally
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 76 of the Health Act, 1920, I, Thomas Russell Ritchie, Director-General of Health, with the approval of the Minister of Health, hereby prohibit children under the age of sixteen years from travelling either from a place in the North Island of New Zealand to a place in the South Island of New Zealand or from a place in the South Island of New Zealand to a place in the North Island of New Zealand after midnight on Saturday, 13th December, 1947.

Law Practitioners Amendment Act, 1935
PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Amendment Act, 1935, notice is hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Law Society on the 10th day of November, 1947, ordered that the name of Jack Seddon Rumbold, of London (but formerly of Christchurch), be removed at his own request from the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand to enable him to apply for admission to the English Bar.
