Alteration of Boundary

Pursuant to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, the Christchurch Drainage Board at a meeting held on the 25th day of November, 1947, hereby resolves that the boundary of the said Special Area hereinbefore described and defined shall be further altered so as to include in the said Special Area all those areas more particularly described in the Schedules hereto, and further resolves that the said areas shall form part of and be included in the Subdivision B of the said Special Area, and that the boundaries of the said Subdivision B shall be altered accordingly so as to include all those areas more particularly described in the Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the south-western corner of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 5930; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 1, to and across Leslie Street, and along the western boundary of Lot 23 on Deposited Plan No. 201 to the Special Area boundary; thence easterly, southerly, and westerly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the south-western corner of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 279, folio 167; thence northerly and westerly along the western and southern boundary of the said certificate of title, Vol. 279, folio 167, to the eastern boundary of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 55, folio 195; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said certificate of title to the Special Area boundary; thence easterly, southerly, and westerly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE

All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the north-western corner of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 11020; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 10282 to the western boundary thereof; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 2 and Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 10282 and the western boundary of Lots 10, 9, and 8 on Deposited Plan No. 2960 to the north-western corner thereof; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Lot 14 on Deposited Plan No. 2960 to the south-eastern side of Peer Street; thence westerly across Peer Street to the southern corner of Lot 58 on Deposited Plan No. 201; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said Lot 58 to the south-eastern side of Brodie's Road; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of Brodie's Road, and in prolongation thereof to and across Godley Street to the River Avon; thence easterly along River Avon to the Christchurch Drainage District boundary, and along the said Christchurch Drainage District boundary to the Special Area boundary on the eastern side of Waimairi Road; thence southerly and westerly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the western corner of Lot 9 on Deposited Plan No. 10476; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 437, folio 144, to the western corner thereof; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of said certificate of title, to and across Crozier's Road, and continuing in the same line to a point on the south-western boundary of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 1308, such point being approximately 313.66 links north-west of the north-western boundary of Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 13333; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 1308 to Dudley Creek; thence south-westerly along Dudley Creek to the Special Area boundary; thence north-westerly and south-westerly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.

FIFTH SCHEDULE

All that area of land in the Canterbury Land District commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary, such point being the north-western corner of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 8784; thence northerly across Lot 60 on Deposited Plan No. 13198 to the south-western corner of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 13198; thence continuing in the same direction along the western boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 on Deposited Plan No. 13198 to the north-western corner thereof; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 16 to and across Hills Road to the eastern side thereof; thence southerly along the eastern side of Hills Road to the Special Area boundary; thence southerly and westerly along the Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE AN ESTATE OR INTEREST IN LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928

Notice is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes to execute a certain public work—namely, the extension of waterworks—and for the purposes of such public work the life estates or interests reserved in conveyance registered in the Deeds Register Office at Auckland as No. 350091 in the pieces of land described in the Schedule are required to be taken.: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said land is deposited in the office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situate at the Town Hall, Queen Street, Auckland, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said life estates or interests in the said land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said life estates or interests in the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Queen Street, Auckland.

THE SCHEDULE

First, all that piece of land situated in Block I of the Titirangi Survey District, containing 39 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 84 of the Parish of Waitakerei.

Second, all that piece of land situated in Block I of the Titirangi Survey District, containing 1 acre 1 rood 1 perch, more or less, being part of Allotment 84 of the Parish of Waitakerei.

Third, all that piece of land situated in Block I of the Titirangi Survey District, containing 27 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 84 of the Parish of Waitakerei.

Fourth, all that piece of land situated in Block I of the Titirangi Survey District, containing 2 acres 2 roods 3 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 84 of the Parish of Waitakerei.

Fifth, all that piece of land situated in Block I of the Titirangi Survey District, containing 92 acres 1 rood, more or less, being part of Allotment 84 of the Parish of Waitakerei.

Sixth, all that piece of land situated in Block I of the Titirangi Survey District, containing 15 acres 10.5 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 84 of the Parish of Waitakerei.

All the said pieces of land above described are shown coloured yellow on Survey Office plan No. 34411.

NOTICE OF REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

Notice is hereby given that an order was made by the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington on the 28th day of November, 1947, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above company from £60,000 to £30,000 and approving the following minute to be registered at the office of the Registrar of Companies at Wellington:-

"The capital of Wellington Mortgages, Limited, henceforth is £30,000 divided into 60,000 shares of 10s. each, instead of the original capital of £60,000 divided into 60,000 shares of £1 each."
