SEAVIEW SAND COMPANY, LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of SEAVIEW SAND COMPANY, LIMITED (in Voluntary
Liquidation).

AT a meeting of the above-named company held in Nathans
Buildings, Grey Street, Wellington, on 18th November, 1947,
the following resolution was passed:

"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting
that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its
business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accord-
ingly that the company be wound up voluntarily."

At the said meeting DOUGLAS LAURENSON, of Courtenay Place,
Wellington, Public Accountant, was appointed liquidator for the
purposes of such winding up.

WILL OF CHARLOTTE LOUISE RICE

Re will of CHARLOTTE LOUISE RICE (also known as Charlotte
Louise Ward), late of King's Cross, in the State of New
South Wales, and also late of Carterton, Wairarapa, New
Zealand, Widow, deceased. Probate granted by Supreme
Court of New South Wales on the 26th day of May, 1947.

PURSUANT to the Wills, Probate, and Administration Act,
1898-1940 (Testator's Family Maintenance and Guardianship
of Infants Act, 1916-1938, and Trustee Act, 1925-1940), James
Beven Shaw Rice, the executor of the will of the said Charlotte Louise
Rice who died on the 27th day of March, 1947, hereby gives notice
that creditors and others having any claim against or to the estate
of the said deceased are required to send particulars of their claims
to the said executor at 160 Castlereagh Street, Sydney, on or before
the 27th day of January, 1948, at the expiration of which time the
said executor will distribute the assets of the said deceased to the
persons entitled, having regard only to the claims of which he then
has notice.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes
to execute a certain public work-namely, the construction
of public baths-and for the purposes of such public work the
several pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto are required
to be taken: And notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Town Clerk
to the said Council situate at the Town Hall, Queen Street, Auck-
land, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during
ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the
said public work or by the taking of such land or any part thereof
who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of the said pieces of land or
any of them must state their objections in writing, and send the
same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Queen Street, Auckland.

FIRST, that piece of land containing 17 perches, more or less,
situated in the City of Auckland, being part Lots 29 and 30 on a plan
lodged in the Deeds Register Office at Auckland as No. 426, being

Second, that piece of land containing 18 perches, more or less,

Deeds Plan No. 426, being part of Allotment 8 of Section 7 of the
Suburbs of Auckland, and being all of the land comprised and

Third, that piece of land situated in the City of Auckland
containing 22 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 7 of
Section 7 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being all the land
comprised and described in certificate of title registered in Vol.
540, folio 15 (Auckland Land Registry), limited as to parcels.

Fourth, that piece of land containing 33·3 perches, more or less,
being part Allotment 7 of Section 7 of the Suburbs of Auckland,
bounded as appears on a plan deposited in the land Registry Office
at Auckland as No. 3694, and being all of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title registered in Vol. 136, folio 63 (Auck-
land Land Registry).

Fifth, that piece of land containing 15·5 perches, more or less,
situated in the City of Auckland, being part Allotment 7 of Section 7
of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being all the land comprised and

(Auckland Land Registry), limited as to parcels.

Sixth, that piece of land containing 30·8 perches, more or less,
situated in the City of Auckland, being part Allotment 7 of Section 7
of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being all the land comprised and
described in certificate of title registered in Vol. 539, folio 132
(Auckland Land Registry), limited as to parcels.

Seventh, that piece of land containing 10·7 perches, more or
less. situated in the City of Auckland, being part Allotment 7 of
Section 7 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being all of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title registered in Vol. 540,
folio 9 (Auckland Land Registry), limited as to parcels and title.

Eighth, that piece of land containing 13·6 perches, more or
less, situated in the City of Auckland, being part Allotment 7 of
Section 7 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being all of the land
comprised and described in certificate of title registered in Vol. 540,
folio 10 (Auckland Land Registry), limited as to parcels and title.

Reconstruction and Development Loan, 1947, f70,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
South Canterbury Electric-power Board held on the 20th day
of May, 1947:

"That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the South
Canterbury Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of f70,000 (seventy thousand pounds), authorized
to be raised by the South Canterbury Electric-power Board under
the above-mentioned Act for the further reticulating the Board's
