The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman

WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies:

And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable or adaptable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman:

And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land, did on the 20th day of October, 1947, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court:

And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty's Forces or in any British ship:

Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby specifies the 1st day of June, 1948, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.

SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement seven hundred and seventy-nine (779) acres, more or less, being Sections 62, 67A, 69, 69A, and 70, Block VIII, Katikati Survey District, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 110, folio 289 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement twenty (20) acres, more or less, being Section 71, Block VIII, Katikati Survey District, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 124, folio 14 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement ten (10) acres, more or less, being Section 68A, Block VIII, Katikati Survey District, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 32, folio 122 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing by admeasurement forty-nine (49) acres three (3) roods thirty-five (35) perches, more or less, being Section 61, Block VIII, Katikati Survey District, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 707, folio 269 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land containing approximately fifteen (15) acres, being the northern moiety of Section 50, Block VIII, Katikati Survey District, and being part of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 24, folio 218 (Auckland Registry).

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of Intention to take Land

THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 1st day of June, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 12th day of January, 1948, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land situated in Block XV, Komakorau Survey District, containing by admeasurement thirty-four (34) acres one (1) rood twenty-five (25) perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 273, Kirikiriroa Parish, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 2, folio 259 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XV, Komakorau Survey District, containing by admeasurement one hundred and thirty (130) acres, more or less, being Allotments 277, 278, and 279, Kirikiriroa Parish, and being all the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 16, folio 174 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XV, Komakorau Survey District, containing by admeasurement twenty-one (21) acres, more or less, being part of Allotment 13, Tamahere Parish, on Deposited Plan 1719, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 84, folio 122 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XV, Komakorau Survey District, containing by admeasurement one thousand three hundred and thirty-two (1,332) acres, more or less, being Allotments 274, 275, 276, N. 281, and 301, Kirikiriroa Parish, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 556, folio 229, (limited as to parcels), (Auckland Registry).

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of Intention to take Land

THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 17th day of March, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 19th day of December, 1947, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL those parcels of land containing five thousand and sixty-one (5,061) acres, more or less, being Lot 3, Deposited Plan 10176, and parts Lot 2, Deposited Plans 10176 and 10177, and Lot 5 and part Lot 4, Deposited Plan 10177. Situated in Blocks VII, VIII, XII, and XIII, Stonyhurst Survey District, and Block II, Weld Survey District, and being parts of the land comprised in certificates of title, Vol. 438, folio 38, and Vol. 453, folio 234 (Canterbury Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, as No. 2975, and thereon delineated by a yellow border (subject to survey).

The Greymouth Milk Delivery Notice 1945, Amendment No. 2

PURSUANT to the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945,* the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows:

1. This notice may be cited as the Greymouth Milk Delivery Notice 1945, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Greymouth Milk Delivery Notice 1945† (hereinafter referred to as the principal scheme).

2. Clause (7) of the principal scheme is hereby amended by revoking the words “Keeney Bros., Cobden,” in relation to deliveries in zone numbered I marked on the plan, and the words “Minehan Bros., Cobden,” in relation to deliveries in zones numbered II and III marked on the plan, and by substituting in each case the words “Rae Bros., Runanga.”
