Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 325 acres, more or less, being Sections 36 and 37, Block XIV, Wai-iti Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 102/14, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1947.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan No. 6/6, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 34493.)

B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, Marlborough County, containing by admeasurement 114 acres, more or less, being Section 2, Block IV, Heringa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 103/16, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Nelson plan S.O. 708.)

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of November, 1947 Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
PURSUANT to section forty-one of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1945, and of all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, of the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of section eighty-five of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing 25 acres 3 roods 30 perches, being Lot 2, D.P. 34097, being portion of Section 41, Selwyn Settlement, Block II, Patetere South Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 786, folio 158 (Auckland Land Registry).

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £1,875 by the Whangaroa County Council and prescribing the Conditions thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of November, 1947 Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
WHEREAS the Whangaroa County Council (hereinafter called the said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section three of the Main Highways Amendment Act, 1928, to borrow the sum of one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five pounds (£1,875), by a loan to be known as "Main Highways Loan, 1947" (hereinafter called the said loan), for the purpose of paying its portion of the cost of replacing the Pupuke Bridge on the Pakaraka-Awanui via Mangonui Main Highway and Wood's Bridge on the Whangaroa-Kaeo Main Highway: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five pounds (£1,875), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:—
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall be ten (10) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3.10s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.
(4) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

WHEREAS the Christchurch Drainage Board (hereinafter called the said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the terms of a requisition issued under section twenty-two of the Health Act, 1920, to raise the sum of one hundred and seventy-two thousand pounds (£172,000), by a loan to be known as "New Brighton Sewerage Loan, 1947" (hereinafter called the said loan), for the purpose of providing sewerage works for the area lately comprising the Borough of New Brighton: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
