Allocating Portion of Railway Land at Brunswick for Road Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Waikato-Thames Railway (Hamilton-Cambridge Branch), and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road;
And WHEREAS the Governor-General, in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling him in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be maintained by the Waikato County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 acre 3 rods 11 perches.
Being part Railway land in Proclamation 750, and being formerly part of Section 163, Parish of Hautapu.
Situated in Block VIII, Hamilton Survey District, Waikato County (S.O. 3508.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of November, 1947.

Land taken for a Main Highway Depot in Block XIV, Reefton

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a main highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 9 acres 7 perches.
Being Lots 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, and 62, D.P. 43, being part Section 132, Square 131 (Nelson R.D.) (S.O. 9515.)
Situated in Block XIV, Reefton Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126255, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1947.

Leasehold Estate or Interest in Land in the Borough of Greymouth

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate or interest in the land in the Borough of Greymouth taken for Post and Telegraph Purposes (Line Store, Garage, and Workshop) described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked, and that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 2 acres 1 rod 20 perches.
Being part Section 471, Town of Greymouth (Westland R.D.) (S.O. 4419.)
Situated in Block XXI, Greymouth Survey District (Borough of Greymouth) (Westland R.D.) (S.O. 4419.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of November, 1947.
