Stopping Government Road in Block III, Otamatea Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section one hundred and forty-nine of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

SCHEDULE

Situated in Block III, Otamatea Survey District (Auckland R.D.).

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1947.

Closed Road added to an Endowment in Block IV, Motueka Survey District, Waimea County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land comprised in the closed road described in the First Schedule hereto and that intersects the endowment described in the Second Schedule hereto to be added to the said endowment.

FIRST SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of closed road: 1 rood 5.5 perches.

Being (now) Section 26, Block IV, Motueka Survey District (S.O. 9489). (New Zealand Gazette 1947, page 903, Proclamation No. 1629.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125397, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 31 acres 0 roods 36.7 perches, being parts of Section 144, Motueka Original, parts of Sections 3, 6, and 7, and Sections 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 25, Block IV, Motueka Survey District, and being all the lands comprised and described in Certificates of Title, Volume 43, folio 82, and Volume 82, folio 154, Nelson Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of November, 1947.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block III, Mata Survey District -viz., a Deviation of the Gisborne-Tā Araroa Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road in Block III, Mata Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Gisborne-Tā Araroa Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

COMMENCING at a point on the existing Gisborne-Tā Araroa Main Highway near the south-eastern corner of Ahi-a-Te-Atua A 12 Block, Block III, Mata Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 65 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Ahi-a-Te-Atua A 12 Block, Ahi-a-Te-Atua A 13 Block, and Waitakaro Block, Block III, Mata Survey District, and terminating at a point on the existing main highway approximately 5 chains north-east of the south-eastern corner of Puhunga A 5B 2 Block, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the Gisborne Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126372, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1947.
