NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Regulations Act, 1936, of the making of regulations and orders as under :-

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licences under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Manufacture for Sale of Footwear

C. Levy, 210A Tuam Street, Christchurch, has applied for a licence to manufacture moccasins by stitching methods only.

Dunlop (N.Z.), Ltd., P.O. Box 3039, Wellington, has applied for a licence to manufacture rubber and canvas footwear.

K. Dowson, 125 Main Road, Redcliffs, Christchurch, has applied for permission to transfer his existing licence from 125 Main Road, Redcliffs, to Cridland Street, Kaiapoi.

Peters’ Shoes, Ltd., 57 Guinness Street, Greymouth, has applied for an extension of its existing licence to establish a closing-room at Kumara.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 6th November, 1947, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. CROWN LANDS NOTICE

Town Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 21st October, 1947.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 17th November, 1947.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 18th November, 1947, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND
Waitemata County.—Waiwera Parish

Lot 235 of Allotment 279: Area, 33·4 perches. Capital value, £125; half-yearly rent, £3 2s. 6d.

This section is a good building-site very handy to Orewa Ocean Beach, situated on Waiwera Road just off the main highway near the Domain, three miles from Silverdale, and about twenty-two miles from Birkenhead Vehicular Ferry. Access is by formed sandy road off main northern highway.

Applicant will be required to build a permanent home on the section.

Any further information required may be obtained from the undersigned.
