Revoking a Proclamation taking Land for Coal-mining Operations in Block XV, Pakaumanu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of the same month, at page 1820, taking land for coal-mining operations in Block XV, Pakaumanu Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of October, 1947.

Land taken for Better Utilization in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 50 acres 1 rood 16·7 perches.

Being part Lot 15, D.P. 5751, and being part Sections 6, 21, and 22 of the Wainui District, Block II, Paekakariki Survey District, and being the balance of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 445, folio 285 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of October, 1947.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Hamilton as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 30 perches.

Being part Lot 95, D.P. 12268, being part Allotment 78, Pukete Parish.

Situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 33354.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126083, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of October, 1947.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster’s residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 22·34 perches.

Being Lot 6, D.P. 6344, being part Section 12, Block VI, Town District.

Situated in the City of Dunedin (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9600.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126170, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of October, 1947.
