A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section one hundred and seventy of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the entirety of the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken as for a public work under the Public Works Act, 1928, for coal-mining operations under Part III of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, and that notwithstanding section nineteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, no part of the said land shall be deemed to be excepted out of this Proclamation; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 94 acres 2 roods. Being part Rangitoto-Tuhua 25 No. 1B 2A Block.
Situated in Block XV, Pakauanu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31814.)
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 114074, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of October, 1947.

Revoking a Proclamation taking Land for Coal-mining Operations in Block X, Mapara Survey District, and Block 1, Pahi Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of the same month, at page 1820, taking land for coal-mining operations in Block X, Mapara Survey District, and Block I, Pahi Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of October, 1947.
