NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth:—

Unclaimed Lands.—Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments
To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that parcel of land containing 8 acres 3 roods 12 perches, more or less, being part of the north-western portion of Allotment 98 of the Parish of Mangapai, and the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 590, folio 276 of the Register-book at Auckland, the registered proprietor whereof is William Fleming, of Auckland, Labourer, the grantee under Crown Grant No. 2739B dated the 17th day of October, 1865.
WHEREAS, after due inquiry, the owner of the above-described land cannot be found: And whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand:
Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if he fails or neglects so to do the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said land the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Unclaimed Lands.—Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments
To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that parcel of land containing twenty-six and seven-tenths (26·7) perches, situate in the Town of Raroa, being parts of Sections 7 and 9 of the Porirua District, and being Lot 41, Block II, on Deposited Plan No. 1988, and part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 419, folio 296 of the Register-book at Wellington, the registered proprietor of which is the Johnsonville Land Company, Limited, which has been struck off the Register of Companies.
WHEREAS the above-named company agreed in 1907 to sell the above-described land to one Neil Anderson, who, after due inquiry, cannot be found: And whereas the said Neil Anderson has no known agent in New Zealand:
Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon the said Neil Anderson or other the owner of the said land, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if he fails or neglects so to do the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said land the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Rex Leathercrafts, 2–4 Victoria Street, Christchurch, has applied for a licence to manufacture moccasins.
Pharmacy Industry
L. I. Bell, 64 Duke Street, Mount Roskill, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at the corner of Te Atatu Road and Main North Highway, Waitemata County.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Levien and Son, Rocky Bay, Waiheke Island, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit otherwise than through a pump from a depot to be established at Rocky Bay, Waiheke Island.
H. G. Pringle, 67 King Street, Palmerston North, has applied for amendment of the conditions of his motor-spirits retailer's licence to permit the transfer of a pump from inside garage premises at 67 King Street to a site outside new garage premises at 32 Taonui Street, Palmerston North.
A. J. Greive, Karapiro, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside store premises at Karapiro.
M. A. Sherley, Private Bag, Hokitika, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside store premises at a motor camp at Waiho, Franz Joseph.
Auckland Seine Boat Association, Ltd., Hood Street, Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed inside premises in Halsey Street, Freemans Bay, Auckland.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 23rd October, 1947, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
