ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of
October, 1947
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section one hundred and twelve of the Public
Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a county road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the Hawke's Bay Land District,
Dannevirke County, known as the Pukeatua Farm Settlement
Road, commencing at its junction with the Pukeatua Road, and
proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally adjoining
Section 12, Block VII, Tahoraiti Survey District, Sections 19 and
20, Block VIII, Tahoraiti Survey District, and Sections 8 and 9,
Block XI, Tahoraiti Survey District, and terminating at the northern
boundary of the said Section 9, being a distance of 82Β½ chains,
more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 125680, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
William Kearns,
Edward John Carlyon
Harry Hales,
Cyril Robert Lincoln,
George Swan,
Charles Benjamin Curtis, and
Claude William Earl Gill,
to be the Tatu Domain Board, having control of the land described
in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the
thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-
seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Tatu Hall,
as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SECTION 2, Tatu Village Suburban, Ohura Survey District: Area,
10 acres, more or less.

Changing the Purpose of Reserves in Town of Linton, Wellington
Land District .

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of
October, 1947

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto is
a reserve duly set apart for a site for a post and telegraph
office:
And whereas the land described in the Second Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for municipal purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purposes of the reservations
over such lands shall be changed to reserves for railway purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by sub-
section one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purposes
of the reserves described in the First and Second Schedules hereto
are hereby changed from a reserve for a site for a post and telegraph
office and a reserve for municipal purposes, respectively, to reserves
for railway purposes.

or less.

Revoking the Reservation over a Reserve in Waitahuna West Survey
District, Otago Land District

October, 1947

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for the use of
the Department of Agriculture over the land described in the
Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land,
being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal
under the Land Act, 1924.

SECTION 32, Block XII, Waitahuna West Survey District: Area,
4 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in Marlborough Land District brought under
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
for recreation in the Marlborough Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the
operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II
of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the
Ngakuta Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with
as a public domain by the Ngakuta Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block XI, Linkwater Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 1 rood 5.3 perches, more or less,
being Lot 33 on D.P. 1557 (Town of the Grove Extension No. 1),
and being part of Toms Grant, Queen Charlotte Sound Registration
District.
