Crown Land in Otago Land District set apart for the Purposes of Part I
of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by
section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General
Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same
is, hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing 3 roods 26.5 perches, more or less, being
Section 5 and part of Section 6, Block LXVI, Town of Lawrence:
Bounded towards the north by Colonsay Street, 150.35 links;
towards the east, south, and again east by another part of said
Section 6, 298.59 links, 86.14 links, and 204.15 links respectively;
towards the south by Campbelton Street, 128.3 links; towards the
west and south by Section 1, 125.26 links and 45.1 links respectively;
towards the west by Sections 2 and 3, 231.48 links; and towards
the north and west by Section 4, 108.0 links and 146.15 links
respectively.
Also all that area containing 1 rood 10.9 perches, more or less,
being part of Section 6, Block LXVI, Town of Lawrence: Bounded
towards the east by Lancaster Street, 166.57 links; towards the
south by Campbelton Street, 190.91 links; towards the west and
north by another part of said Section 6, 166.57 links and 190.89
links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/727,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of October, 1947.

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State
forest.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.โ€”NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Inangahua County,
containing by admeasurement 839 acres 0 roods 25 perches, more
or less, and described generally as follows:โ€”
All that area containing 658 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or
less, being Sections 12, 28, and 40, Block XIII, and Sections 3, 6,
and 21, Block XIV, Reefton Survey District, and Section 3, Block II,
Waitahu Survey District. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan No. 113/25, deposited in the Head Office of
the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Also all that area containing 180 acres 2 roods 33 perches, more
or less, being Sections 5 and 6, Block II, Waitahu Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 120/40,
deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 4th day of October, 1947.

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land
described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved
for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such
recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and
subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 89, Block VI, Hunua Survey District: Area, 18 acres
3 roods 20 perches, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of October, 1947.
