the Main South Road; then across the Main South Road and
south-westerly along its south-eastern side to the left bank of the

easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 104, 103, 102,
101, 100, 99, 98, 97, 96, 95, 94, and 93 to the easternmost corner of
the last-mentioned lot; then along a right line, being the pro-
duction of the north-eastern boundary of Lot 93 aforesaid, to the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 106 on D.P. 3490; then north-
easterly along that boundary to the south-western side of Shaw
Street; then north-westerly along the south-western side of Shaw
Street to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of the land
shown on certificate of title, Vol. 292, folio 217 (Canterbury Registry);
then to and along that boundary to the southern boundary of
Lot 77 on D.P. 3490; then along the southern, western, and
northern boundaries of Lot 77 and the northern boundary of Lot 108
to a point in line with the eastern side of Simmons Street; then
across Rothwell Street and along the southern and eastern bound-
aries of Lot 66, the southern boundary of Lot 59, and the southern
and eastern boundaries of Lot 60 on D.P. 3490 to the southern
side of Airport Avenue forming the northern boundary of Rural
Sections 1911 and 1998; then easterly along that road to the
western boundary of the Otipua Domain (part Reserve 1858);
then generally along the western and southern sides of that domain
to its south-eastern corner; then easterly along the southern
side of Reserve No. 1856 and its production to high-water mark
of the sea; then northerly along the high-water mark of the sea
to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF LEVELS

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line
commencing in the middle of the Opihi River at a point opposite
to the northernmost corner of Rural Section 27460 in Block XII,
Tengawai Survey District, and proceeding thence down the middle
of the said river to its mouth; then southerly along the sea-
coast to the mouth of the Pareora River, and up the middle of that
river to a point in line with the road fronting Section 81, Rosewill
Settlement; then to and north-westerly along that road and
Cannington Road to Cave Railway-station; then across the
Railway Reserve and Tengawai River to the left bank of the said
river, and along that bank to the western boundary of Section 27,
Albury Settlement, and along that boundary, the western and north-
western boundaries of Section 22 of the said settlement, the western
boundaries of Rural Sections 28941 and 27460, and the production
of the latter to the middle of the Opihi River at the point of
commencement; excepting therefrom the Borough of Timaru
hereinbefore described, also the Town District of Pleasant Point,
and all the lands north and south of the said borough which are
vested in the Timaru Harbour Board.

THIRD SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE WAIMATAITAI RIDING, COUNTY OF LEVELS

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line
commencing at the north-western corner of Rural Section 14284;
then south-easterly along the Timaru — Pleasant Point Road to
its junction with the Main North Road; then south-easterly
along the Main North Road to Washdyke Creek; then down that
creek to the Waitarakao Lagoon; then along the southern shore
of that lagoon to its outlet; then westerly generally along the
Borough of Timaru, hereinbefore described, to the Waimataitai
Creek; then up that creek to the road forming the western
boundary of Rural Section 3989; then northerly along that road
to the Upper Washdyke Road; then along the Upper Washdyke
Road to the road forming the southern boundary of Rural Section
11198; then along that road to the road (Brockley Road) forming
part of the western boundary of the said Rural Section 11198;
then north-westerly along that road to the road forming the
southern boundary of Rosewill Settlement; then along that road
to the south-eastern corner of Section 115, Rosewill Settlement;
then along the eastern boundary of that section to Rolling Ridges
Road; then along Rolling Ridges Road to the road intersecting
Section 113, Rosewill Settlement; then northerly along that road
to the north-western corner of Section 1, Papaka Settlement, Block
VIII, Pareora Survey District; then along the road forming the
northern boundary of that section to the road forming the north-
western boundary of Rural Section 12842; then along that
road to the north-western corner of Rural Section 14284, the place
of commencement.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of
Intention to take Land

THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the
Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives
notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule
hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 1st day of
March, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land is required
and the 3rd day of November, 1947, as the date on or before which
objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks VIII and XII, Okaka
Survey District, containing by admeasurement twenty-five (25) acres,
more or less, being Te Kawau No. 1A Block, and being all of the land
described in certificate of title, Vol. 203, folio 196 (Auckland
Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block VIII, Okaka
Survey District, containing by admeasurement eighty-four (84) acres
two (2) roods thirty-nine (39) perches, more or less, being part of
Te Kawau No. 1B Block, and being the balance of the land described
in certificate of title, Vol. 203, folio 197 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks VIII and XII,
Okaka Survey District, containing by admeasurement two hundred
and eighteen (218) acres fifteen (15) perches, more or less, being part
of Te Kawau No. 2 Block, and being the balance of the land described
in certificate of title, Vol. 203, folio 198 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks VIII and XII,
Okaka Survey District, containing by admeasurement one hundred
and seventy (170) acres three (3) roods sixteen (16) perches, more or
less, being part of Omokaiti Block, and being the balance of the land
described in certificate of title, Vol. 203, folio 199 (Auckland
Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks VIII, X, XI, and
XII, Okaka Survey District, containing by admeasurement one
hundred and eighty-one (181) acres two (2) roods twenty-three
(23) perches, more or less, being part of Paihawanui Block, and being
the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 261,
folio 103 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks VIII, X, and XI,
Okaka Survey District, containing by admeasurement two thousand
six hundred and seventy-three (2,673) acres two (2) roods three
(3) perches, more or less, being parts of Allotments 3, 11, 14, 15,
and 22, Waioneke Parish, part of Waipiro Block and part of
Koharatahi Block (parts of the said land being parts of the land
shown on plans numbered 257A and 258A, lodged in the Land
Registry Office at Auckland), and being the balance of the land
described in certificate of title, Vol. 434, folio 129 (Auckland
Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Blocks X and XI, Okaka
Survey District, containing by admeasurement two hundred and
twenty-three (223) acres one (1) rood twenty-four (24) perches,
more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 24701, being part
of Allotments 30 and 31, Waioneke Parish, and being all of the
land described in certificate of title, Vol. 648, folio 216 (Auckland
Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block X, Okaka Survey
District, containing by admeasurement sixteen (16) acres three
(3) roods eight (8) perches, more or less, being parts of Allotments 2
and 3, Waioneke Parish, and being the balance of the land described
in certificate of title, Vol. 649, folio 264 (Auckland Registry).

Also all those parcels of land situated in Block X, Okaka Survey
District, containing by admeasurement four (4) acres thirty-eight
(38) perches, more or less, being Allotments 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39,
Waioneke Parish, and being all of the land described in certificate
of title, Vol. 700, folio 81 (Auckland Registry).
