(4) The payment of interest and the redemptions in respect of the said loan shall be made in New Zealand.
(5) No amount payable either as interest or as a redemption in respect of the said loan shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
(6) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procurement fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount raised.
(7) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-fifth day of the same month, at page 2033, authorizing Thomas Hotton, of Naseby, Hotelkeeper, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity, and to erect certain electric lines.

PURSUANT to section two hundred and sixty-eight of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
Colin Aubrey Thurlow, Building Supervisor, Hastings,
being an officer in the service of the Crown, is authorized to attest, in accordance with the provisions of the said section two hundred and sixty-eight, the signatures of Natives to instruments of alienation of Native land.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 26th day of September, 1947.

PURSUANT to section five hundred and forty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
Colin Aubrey Thurlow, Building Supervisor, Hastings,
being an officer in the service of the Crown, is authorized to attest, in accordance with the provisions of the said section five hundred and forty-seven, the signatures of Natives to instruments by way of security within the meaning of the Chattels Transfer Act, 1924.

Appointing a Member of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council

PURSUANT to section three of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint John Andrew Charles Allum, of Auckland, Company Director, as representing the Municipal Association of New Zealand (Incorporated), to be a member of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council for a term commencing on the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and terminating on the sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-two.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 29th day of September, 1947.

Appointing Two Non-elective Members of the Westland Catchment Board

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 30 of the fifth day of June of the same year, Elwyn Frank Evans, Esquire, and Harry Stephen Gibbs, Esquire, were appointed non-elective members of the Westland Catchment Board in terms of section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941:
And whereas the said Elwyn Frank Evans and Harry Stephen Gibbs have resigned from membership of the said Board, and it is considered expedient to appoint two other non-elective members in lieu of the said Elwyn Frank Evans and Harry Stephen Gibbs:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by section forty-four of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the appointments of the said Elwyn Frank Evans and Harry Stephen Gibbs to be non-elective members of the Westland Catchment Board, and do hereby appoint—
Archibald Bryce Bremner, Esquire, A.M.I.C.E., Senior Engineer, Public Works Department, Greymouth, and
Alan Copland Beck, Esquire, M.Sc., Geological Survey Branch, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Greymouth,
to be non-elective members of the Westland Catchment Board for a term commencing on the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, and terminating on the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 23rd day of September, 1947.
