Members appointed to New Plymouth Scenic Reserves Board

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of that month, the control of certain scenic and historic reserves in the Taranaki Land District was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Warrant constituted a special Board by the name of the New Plymouth Scenic Reserves Board, in pursuance of section thirteen of the Scenic Preservation Act, 1908: And whereas it is desirable that Byford Alford Norman should be appointed a member of the said Board in place of Leonard William Delph, resigned:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section thirteen of the Scenic Preservation Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby appoint the said Byford Alford Norman to be a member of the New Plymouth Scenic Reserves Board constituted by the Warrant dated the eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said Leonard William Delph, resigned; and, in pursuance of the said section thirteen, doth hereby appoint Allan Francis Waters as an additional member of the Board.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 16th day of September, 1947.

Judge of Assessment Court under Urban Farm Land Rating Act, 1932, appointed

PURSUANT to section nine of the Urban Farm Land Rating Act, 1932, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, hereby appoint Leonard George Herston Sinclair, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate, Auckland, in place of John Hector Luxford, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate, Auckland, to be the Judge of the Assessment Court for the Borough of Northcote.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 15th day of September, 1947.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to confirm the following appointment, promotions, and relinquishments of temporary rank of officers of the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force (Japan Section), vide Lists Nos. 62, dated 5th August, 1947, and 63, dated 13th August, 1947:
