Additional Land and an Easement over Land at Kaipara Flats taken
for the Purposes of the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes of the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway; and I
do also hereby proclaim and declare that a water-pipe line easement
is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto, vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right,
licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, main-
tain, and use a water-pipe line in, under, and over the land in the
said Second Schedule, with the right for His Majesty's servants,
agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter
to go, pass, and repass over the land in the said Second Schedule,
to inspect, maintain, repair or renew the said water-pipe line.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8971, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of September, 1947.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State
forest.

SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.-NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, con-
taining by admeasurement 44 acres, more or less, being Section 18,
Block II, Ohika Survey District. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan No. 113/24, deposited in the Head Office of the
State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of September, 1947.

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State
forest.

SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.-WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Hawke's Bay and
Waipawa Counties, containing by admeasurement 90 acres 0 roods
5 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block I, Maraekakaho
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on
plan No. 79/6, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest
Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Hawke's Bay
plan S.O. 2149R.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 8th day of September, 1947.

Authorizing the Lyttelton Borough Council to erect certain Electric
Lines in the County of Heathcote

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of
September, 1947

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Lyttelton
Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) to lay,
construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the
Schedule hereto on the following conditions.

CONDITIONS

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS
    The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical
    Supply Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall
    form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be
    inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  2. LICENCE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
    The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the
    licensee with the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Electrical
    Supply Regulations 1935, and the Radio Interference Regulations
    1934, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification
    or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.

  3. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
    The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (a)
    of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

  4. DURATION OF LICENCE
    Unless sooner determined, this licence shall continue in force
    until the 12th day of March, 1959; provided that, in so far as it
    authorizes the licensee to erect and use electric lines to supply con-
    suniers within the area of supply of the Christchurch City Council,
    but not in so far as it authorizes the licensee to erect and use any
    other electric lines, it shall cease and determine when a supply of
    electricity becomes available to those consumers from the Christ-
    church City Council.

  5. CHARGES FOR ELECTRICAL ENERGY
    The licensee shall not in respect of electrical energy supplied
    from the electric lines authorized to be used by this licence make
    any charge exceeding the corresponding charge which the licensee
    may from time to time be authorized to make in respect of elec-
    trical energy supplied by the licensee from electric lines authorized
    to be used by any other licence for the time being held by it.

SCHEDULE
LINES adapted for supply as prescribed in these presents for the
transmission of electricity leading from the State Hydro-electric
Department's transmission-lines in Section 77, Block XVI, Christ-
church Survey District, to the licensee's pumping-station situated
in the said Section 77, and proceeding thence across Section 329,
Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District, to the licensee's pump
and motor situated in the said Section 329, and proceeding thence
across Section 122, Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District, to the
licensee's pump and motor situated in the said Section 122, and
proceeding thence across the said Section 122 to a drainage pump
situated in the said Section 122, and across Section 120, Block XVI,
Christchurch Survey District, to the licensee's pump and motor
situated in the said Section 120; as the same are more particularly
shown by means of blue lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 3, deposited
in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric
Department.
