A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act,
1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
51 acres 1 rood 10 perches.
Being Lot 3 and part Lot 2, D.P. 29611; Lots 112, 113, 114, 115,
116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, and 123, D.P. 19506; Lots 39,
40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, and 53, part
Lots 54 and 55, D.P. 18394; being parts Allotments 14 and 15,
District of Tamaki.
Situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District (City of
Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34569.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126009, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 26th day of August, 1947.

PURSUANT to section sixteen of the Soil Conservation and
Rivers Control Act, 1941, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard
Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto to be a soil-conservation reserve.

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection
nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of
closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which
is adjacent to the public-school site described in the Second Schedule
hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said public-school site.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 roods 21·8 perches,
more or less, being Sections 26, 27, and 28, Block II, Makotuku
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 6/6/884, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged
red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods
12·7 perches, more or less, being part Section 7, Block II, Makotuku
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/884A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged
blue.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to
the Land Act, 1924

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1623, set apart by Proclamation
dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth day of that month, is required
for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions
of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the
gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall
become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Westland County, containing by admeasurement 18 acres, more or less, being part Reserve 1623 (provisional
State forest), and being also part Section 3344, situated in Block XII,
Mahinapua Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing
at the most southerly corner of Section 3344, Block XII, Mahinapua
Survey District, and proceeding in a north-westerly direction along
the north-eastern side of the H.P. Line Road for 1350 links; thence
by a right line bearing 65° for 3050 links to the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 3344; thence in a south-westerly direction
by that boundary for 2750 links to the point of commencement.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. X/98/115, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 19th day of August, 1947.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
August, 1947
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the
Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby authorize the Christchurch City Council to permit
the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty
feet seven inches, subject to the conditions that no building or part
of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 2 of a subdivision
of the land fronting the said street, as shown on the plan referred
to in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of forty feet from the
centre-line of the said street, or on Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,
12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, and 19 of the said subdivision within a distance
of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City of
Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 5·7 perches,
more or less, being part Lot 3, D.P. 12486, Lots 16 and 17, D.P. 9576,
and Lot 5, D.P. 10806, being parts Rural Section 154. As the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124731,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.
