Appointment of Honorary Officers
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946, I, James O'Brien, Minister of Marine, do hereby appoint the persons named in the following Schedule to be Honorary Officers for the acclimatization districts shown in such Schedule for the purposes of Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908, such persons to hold office until the 31st March, 1950.

Revocation of Appointment of certain Garage-proprietors for issue of Warrants of Fitness
IN terms of Regulation 11 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, and all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I, James O'Brien, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke the approval of the person and firm described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of the issue of warrants of fitness for motor-vehicles.

THE following resolution, passed by the Clutha County Council on the 29th day of July, 1947, is published in accordance with the provisions of section 7 (2) of the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1934.
RESOLUTION
“UNDER the powers conferred by and in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1934, the Clutha County Council hereby assumes the responsibility for the administration of the principal Act within the County of Clutha as from this 29th day of July, 1947.”

Appointment of Customs Examining-place at Wanganui
IN exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by the Customs Act, 1913, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Customs, do by this Warrant appoint the room 20 ft. by 15 ft. in the premises of the New Zealand Express Company (Wanganui), Limited, situated at 7 Trafalgar Place, Wanganui, and being part of Section 27, Town of Wanganui, to be a place for the examination of goods subject to the control of the Customs.
