Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licences under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
Messrs. A. H. Davis and K. J. W. Payne, 74 Pitt Street,
Auckland, have applied for a variation of their existing licence to
permit wholesale distribution.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
D. R. Walker (by D. L. Ewen, Barrister and Solicitor, Auckland),
has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to
be installed on proposed new garage and service-station premises
at Waiaki, via Browns Bay.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than the 28th August, 1947,
submit any written evidence and representations they may desire
to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Acting-
Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the
authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:-

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 749, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 128† (hereinafter
referred to as the principal Order). -
This Order shall come into force on the 18th day of August, 1947.

The Second and Third Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 748‡, are hereby revoked, and the following
Schedules substituted therefor respectively:-
