Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1946, the Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, doth hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and doth hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 21st day of August, 1947.

SCHEDULE

MANUREWA BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA
All that area of land lying within the Manakau County, and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Main Trunk Railway crosses the southern boundary of the Manurewa Town District; thence following the Papakura Stream upstream to the point where the said stream intersects the western boundary of Section 2 of D.P. 20982, Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary of the said Section 2, D.P. 20982, to the south-western corner of this section; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 2, D.P. 20982, and 7, 8, 9, and 10, Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 10; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of the said Section 10 to the south-western corner of Section 3 of D.P. 14482, Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 3 of D.P. 14482 and Part 38 of Section 38, Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section Part 38 of Section 38; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of Section 8, Block XII, Otahuhu Survey District, to the north-western corner of the said Section 8; thence in a generally north-easterly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 8, 7, 6, and 5, Block VII, Wairoa Survey District, to the northernmost corner of the said Section 5; thence in a generally northerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 30, 29, 74, 73, 75, 24, 59, 48, and 66, Blocks VII and III, Wairoa Survey District, to the eastern corner of Section 49, Block III, Wairoa Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a westerly direction to the eastern corner of Section 32, Block III, Wairoa Survey District; thence in a generally westerly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 32, 16, 18, 19, 20, 178, and 153, Block XII, Otahuhu Survey District, to the south-western corner of the said Section 153; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundary of Section Part 96, Block XII, Otahuhu Survey District, to the south-western corner of the said Section Part 96; thence in a straight line across country in a westerly direction to Trig. 681, located in Section D.P. 6594, Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a south-westerly direction to the point where the Main Trunk Railway crosses the northern boundary of the Manurewa Town District; thence following the said railway in a southerly direction to the point where it crosses the southern boundary of the Manurewa Town District, being the original point of commencement.

Declaring Additional Area to be Part of the Te Awamutu Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1946, the Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be part of the Te Awamutu Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area, defined by notice given under the hand of the Minister of Marketing on the 1st day of July, 1938, and published in the Gazette of the 1st day of July, 1938, at page 1590, doth hereby declare the additional area of land defined in the said Schedule to be part of the Te Awamutu Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area accordingly, and doth hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 21st day of August, 1947.

SCHEDULE

TE AWAMUTU BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA: ADDITIONAL AREA
All that area of land comprising the Kawhia County.

Social Security Pharmaceutical Regulations 1941.—Notice regarding Amendments to Prescription Prices in the New Zealand Formulary

ADDENDUM, August, 1947, to the New Zealand Formulary:—

NEW ZEALAND FORMULARY, PART 2

The references in this part of the New Zealand Formulary to the First Schedule to the Rules of Prescription Pricing shall, where applicable, be deemed to be to the Prescription Pricing Supplement 1947/4, issued by the Pharmacy Plan Industrial Committee. This amendment shall take effect with respect to all medical prescriptions and midwifery orders (whatever the date thereof) that are presented to a contractor for fulfilment on or after 16th August, 1947.
