A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
the purposes of a mental hospital; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare

the purpose of a pleasure-ground and shall vest in the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date
hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
