for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land
subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
32 perches.
Being Lot 61, D.P. 20890, being part Allotments 17 and 18, District
of Tamaki.
Situated in Blocks IX and X, Rangitoto Survey District (City
of Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34637.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125813, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of July, 1947.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125064, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured green.

Altering the Boundaries of the Waitomo and Wairere Electric-power
Districts

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the
boundaries of the Waitomo Electric-power District so as to include
the area described in the First Schedule hereto; and, further, do
hereby alter the boundaries of the Wairere and Waitomo Electric-
power Districts by excluding the area described in the Second
Schedule hereto from the Wairere Electric-power District and
including such area in the Waitomo Electric-power District, and
do hereby declare that the altered boundaries of the Wairere and
Waitomo Electric-power Districts shall be those described in the
Third and Fourth Schedules hereto respectively.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in the County
of Waitomo, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the
south-western corner of Section 15A of Block VIII, Maungamangero
Survey District, and running easterly generally along the southern
boundaries of the said Section 15A and Sections 15 and 14 of the
said Block VIII, and the southern and eastern boundaries of
Section l4A of the said Block VIII, and the southern and south-
eastern boundaries of Lot 2 of Section 6 of the aforesaid Block VIII,
to and along the south-western side of the Mairoa Main Highway
to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 4 of the
said Block VIII; thence along a right line across the said main
highway, to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of the
said Section 4, to and along the southern boundary of Section 1 of
Block V, Otanake Survey District, the generally western boundaries
of Lots 6 and 4, as shown on the plan numbered 14822, deposited
in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and parts
Kinohaku East No. 2, Nos. 28B 16B 5, and 28B 16B 1 Blocks, to and
along the western side of the public road forming part of the eastern
boundary of Kinohaku East No. 2 No. 4B 2 Block, to a point in
line with the generally southern boundary of Section 3, Block V,
Otanake Survey District; thence along a right line across the said
public road, to and along the said southern boundary, to and along
the south-western boundary of Kinohaku East No. 2 No. 20B 2
Block, crossing the intersecting public road, to the north-western
boundary of Kinohaku East No. 3D 4 Block; thence south-westerly
generally along the said north-western boundary, the northern
boundary of Kinohaku East No. 3D 9A Block, the north-western
and western boundaries of Kinohaku East No. 2 No. 16C 2B Block
and the western boundaries of Kinohaku East No. 2 No. 16C 2A and
16C 1 Blocks, to and along the northern boundary of Kinohaku
East No. 3D 3H Block, the eastern and northern boundaries of
Kinohaku East No. 3B 2 Block, the northern boundary of Kinohaku
East No. 3B 1 Block, the north-eastern boundaries of Kinohaku
East No. 3D 8A 4A and 3D 8A 4B Blocks, and a right line across the
Mairoa Main Highway, to and along the north-western boundaries of the
aforesaid No. 3D 8A 4B Block and Kinohaku East No. 3D 8A 6B Block,
along the western boundary of Kinohaku East No. 4F 2 Block, and
along the northern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, as shown on the
plan numbered 13704, deposited as aforesaid, being parts Kinohaku
East No. 4G 2 Block, the northern boundary of Kinohaku East
No. 4G 3A Block, the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XI,
Maungamangero Survey District, and a right line being the last-
mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Kihikihi Road;
thence south-westerly along the middle of the said Kihikihi Road
to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1 of Section 11,
Block VII, Maungamangero Survey District; thence northerly along
a right line to and along the said eastern boundary, crossing the
intervening Kihikihi Stream, and along the eastern boundary of
Lot 2 of the said Section 11 to the point of commencement. As
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
S.H.D. 6, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the
State Hydro-electric Department, and thereon bordered purple.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, situated in the County
of Waitomo, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the
middle of the Mokau River in line with the eastern boundary of
Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 68E 1 Block, and running south-easterly
up the middle of the said river to the boundary between Blocks II
and IV of Mapara Survey District; thence westerly along that
boundary to the eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 68E 1
Block aforesaid; thence northerly along the said eastern boundary,
and the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block II, Mapara Survey
District, and again the eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua
No. 68E 1 Block aforesaid, and a right line, being that boundary
produced to the point of commencement. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 6, deposited in
the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric
Department, and thereon bordered blue.
THIRD SCHEDULE
WAIRERE ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Auckland and Taranaki Land Districts,
situated in the Counties of Waitomo and Clifton, bounded by a line
commencing at a point on the shores of the Tasman Sea, being the
south-western corner of Section 5 of Block V, Awakino North Survey
District, and running north-easterly generally along the southern
boundary of the said Section 5 to its south-eastern corner; thence
along a right line running due east across a public road, an area
of Crown land, and a river-bank reserve to the middle of the
Manganui River; thence up the middle of the said river to a point
in line with the southern boundary of Section 2 of Block IV,
Awakino North Survey District; thence along a right line across
a public road, to and along the said southern boundary, and the
southern and eastern boundaries of Section 3 of the said Block IV,
crossing the intersecting public roads, and abutting the road
reserves in that section, along the eastern boundary of Section 1
of Block II, Awakino North Survey District, to and along the
southern boundary of Section 2 of Block I, Awakino East Survey
District, and the western and southern boundaries of Section 1
of Block I aforesaid, and a right line being the last-mentioned
boundary produced to the middle of the Awakino River; thence
up the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern
boundary of Section 3, Block II, Awakino East Survey District;
thence along a right line across a public road, to and along the
southern and eastern boundaries of the said Section 3 and the
eastern boundaries of Section 4 of Block II, Awakino East Survey
District, and Section 1 of Block XIV, Maungamangero Survey
District, to and along the southern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, as
shown on the plan numbered 10929, deposited in the office of the
District Land Registrar at Auckland, being parts of Puketiti 3B 1
Block, crossing the intersecting public road, along the southern
boundary of Puketiti 3B 2A Block, and the southern and eastern
boundaries of Puketiti 3B 2B Block, to and along the south-eastern
boundary of Puketiti 3A Block, the south-western boundaries of
Puketiti 4B Block, and Lots 1 and 2, as shown on the plan numbered
8923, deposited as aforesaid, being parts of Puketiti 4A Block, and
along the southern boundary of the said Lot 2 and a right line being
that boundary produced to the middle of the Mangaotaki River;
thence up the middle of that river, to and along the middle of the
Kihikihi Road, to and along the southern boundary of the Waitomo
Electric-power District, as described in the Fourth Schedule hereto,
to the southern boundary of Block II, Mapara Survey District;
thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Blocks II and I,
Mapara Survey District, to the middle of the Aramatai Road;
thence along the middle of the aforesaid road to its junction with
the Mapara Road; thence southerly along the middle of the Mapara
