Land taken in the City of Wellington for an Institution established
under the Child Welfare Act, 1925

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section six of
the Statutes Amendment Act, 1945, I, Lieutenant-General
Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an institution
established under the Child Welfare Act, 1925; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 37·8 perches.
Being Lot 242, D.P. 2644, part Sections 1 and 2, Harbour District,
and being the whole of the land comprised and described in
Certificate of Title, Volume 253, folio 41 (Wellington Land
Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of July, 1947.

Land taken for a Police-station in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the fourth day of August, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 24·93 perches.
Being parts Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 3569, being part Section 5, Kaiwarra
District.

Situated in Block III, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of
Wellington). (S.O. 21514.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125532, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1947.

of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-seven.
