NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908, AND THE HOSPITALS AND CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS ACT, 1926
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Hospital Board requires to take the land (with improvements) as described hereunder, namely :—
All that piece of land adjoining the Hutt Hospital, Lower Hutt, containing one acre seven perches and seven-tenths of a perch (1 acre and 7·7 perches), more or less, being part of Section Thirty-five (35), Hutt District, Block IX, Belmont Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 447, folio 161.
The land is required for the purposes of a public work—namely, for the purposes of the Hutt Hospital, being an institution under the control of the Wellington Hospital Board.
Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said land is open for inspection at the offices of Messrs. Brandon, Ward, and Hislop, Solicitors, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at the office of the Hutt Hospital, Lower Hutt.
All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such notice, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary of the Wellington Hospital Board, the office of which is situated in Riddiford Street in the City of Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 17th day of July 1947, presented to the said Court by Gordon James Barton, of Wanganui, Baker, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wanganui on the 6th day of August, 1947, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon ; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose ; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on the Supplementary Bridges Loan, 1946, of £1,000 (being the statutory 10 per cent. additional of the Bridges Loan, 1938, of £10,000, authorized by a poll of the ratepayers of the county taken on the 11th day of May, 1938, for the purpose of constructing, in concrete, bridges throughout the county), the Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three sixty-fourths of a penny (3/64d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Bay of Islands ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Bay of Islands County Council held on the 9th day of July, 1947.

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the Port Charles—Sandy Bay Road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan (Survey Office No. 30500) of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at the Council Chambers, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same to or lodge the same at the office of the County Council, Kapanga Road, Coromandel, within forty days from the first publication of the notice—i.e., on or before the 2nd day of September, 1947.
