The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925.—Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration

NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of the J. C. Williamson (New Zealand), Limited, Industrial Union of Employers, registered No. 1331, situated at Wellington, after the expiration of six weeks from the date of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925.—Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration

NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 23 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of the New Zealand Theatrical Proprietors’ and Managers’ Industrial Association of Employers, registered No. 1333, situated at Wellington, after the expiration of six weeks from the date of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

Declaring Land to be subject to Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Mohaka Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District, containing 15 acres 0 roods 13 perches, more or less, situate in Block XVIII, Waiau Survey District, and called or known as Putere A 13 (part).

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 26th August, 1947, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant will be required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND
Raglan County.—Rangiriri Survey District
SECTION 17, Waikokowai Village, and Section 10, Block XIII : Area, 6 acres 0 roods 17 perches. Capital value, £100; half-yearly rent, £2.
Weighted with £55 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising whare and clearing and fruit trees.
The sections are in Waikokowai Village on the corner of Huntly and Renown Roads, nine miles from Huntly Approximately 5½ acres are in light scrub, and when cleared would be suitable for a farmlet.

Town Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 22nd July, 1947.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned property is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924 ; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up till 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 18th August, 1947.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 20th August, 1947, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.

Weighted with £2 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising grassing and 2 chains of fencing.
These sections are situated on the Waimarino-Taumarunui Road in the Township of Kakahi, one mile from the post-office and railway-station and half a mile from the school. The property is slightly broken, with some blackberry on the back portion, and is not watered.
