Kokohuia Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 114, in Block XI, Waoku Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station 104, Ngapukehaua, in Block VII, Waoku Survey District; thence westerly along a right line to the southeastern corner of the land shown on the plan numbered 6456, lodged in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being part of the Wheorooro Block, in Block VI, Hokianga Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the land shown on the plan aforesaid and its production to the middle of the Hokianga Harbour; thence southerly generally down the middle of that harbour, to and along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Waiwhatawahata Stream; thence easterly along a right line, being the northern boundary of the Waimamaku Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described, to Trig. Station 114, the point of commencement.
Waima Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 103, Oparia, in Block XIV, Mangamuka Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Northern Hokianga Tribal District; thence easterly, south-easterly, and westerly generally along the boundaries of that district and of the Southern Hokianga Tribal District to the north-western corner of Block IV, Waipoua Survey District; thence north-westerly along right lines to Trig. Station 114, Trig. Station 104, Ngapukehaua, Trig. Station N, Horotiu, to Trig. Station 103, Oparia, the point of commencement.
Omanaia Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 103, Oparia, in Block XIV, Mangamuka Survey District; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the Waima Tribal Committee Area, hereinbefore described, to Trig. Station 104, Ngapukehaua; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the Kokohuia Tribal Committee Area, hereinbefore described, to the middle of the Whirinaki River; thence north-westerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 17, Block VI, Waoku Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to the southern extremity of the Omanaia Bridge at Poniwhenua Point; thence along the south side of that bridge to the middle of the Omanaia River Channel; thence northerly generally along that channel to the middle of the Hokianga Harbour; thence easterly generally along the boundary of the Northern Hokianga Tribal District to Trig. Station 103, Oparia, the point of commencement.
Whirinaki Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 1831, in Block V, Waoku Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line passing through Mahena Island to the middle of the Hokianga Harbour; thence up the middle of that harbour to the western boundary of the Omanaia Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence southerly generally along that boundary to the northern boundary of the Kokohuia Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence westerly along that boundary to a point due south of Trig. Station 1831; thence due north along a right line to Trig. Station 1831, the point of commencement.
Pakanae-Horotu Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 1831, in Block V, Waoku Survey District; thence due south to the northern boundary of the Kokohuia Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence westerly along that boundary to the middle of the Hokianga Harbour; thence northerly generally up the middle of that harbour to the westernmost corner of the Whirinaki Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of that area to Trig. Station 1831, the point of commencement.

Notice of Intention to take Land in the Town of Reefton for Housing Purposes
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Reefton and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Notice regarding Payment for Pharmaceutical Supplies under the Social Security Act, 1938

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
DRUG TARIFF, SEPTEMBER, 1946
Pursuant to section 90 of the Social Security Act, 1938, I, Arnold Henry Nordmeyer, Minister of Health, do hereby fix as hereinafter appears the prices to be paid for medicines, drugs, materials, and appliances supplied to persons entitled to claim pharmaceutical benefits under the said Act, and the terms and conditions subject to which such medicines, drugs, materials, and appliances shall be supplied, and for that purpose do hereby direct as follows:-

This direction may be cited as "the Drug Tariff (September, 1946)."

This direction shall apply to all pharmaceutical requirements supplied on or after the 1st day of September, 1946, to persons entitled to claim pharmaceutical benefits under the said Act, and to the supply on or after that date of all pharmaceutical requirements so supplied.

The Drug Tariff (November, 1943), shall not apply to any pharmaceutical requirements supplied on or after the 1st day of September, 1946, to persons entitled to claim pharmaceutical benefits under the said Act or to the supply on or after that date of any pharmaceutical requirements so supplied.
INTERPRETATION
- In this drug tariff, including the New Zealand Formulary, unless the context otherwise requires,-
"B.P." means the 1932 edition of the British Pharmacopoeia, together with the seven addenda thereto in existence at the 1st day of February, 1945;
"B.P.C." means the 1934 edition of the British Pharmaceutical Codex, together with the seven supplements thereto in existence at the 1st day of February, 1945;
"The Fund" means the Social Security Fund established under the Social Security Act, 1938;
"N.Z.F." means the New Zealand Formulary of pharmaceutical requirements, with the prices thereof (when specified therein), rules for pricing, directions, and prohibitions in respect of the supply of pharmaceutical requirements published by the Minister for the purposes hereof, together with all amendments thereof by way of additions thereto, deletions therefrom, or any other alterations thereof contained in any addenda to the said formulary published as aforesaid;
"Proprietary preparation" means any compound or preparation that is prescribed in any medical prescription by reference to any trade-mark or trade-name or by reference to the name of the manufacturers thereof;
"The regulations" mean the Social Security (Pharmaceutical Supplies) Regulations 1941:
Expressions used herein and defined in the regulations have the meanings assigned to them by the regulations.
SCOPE OF TARIFF
- Unless excluded by the operation of one of the provisions of the table subjoined to this clause, all the medicines, drugs, and materials, a monograph on, or formula of, which appears in the N.Z.F., B.P., and B.P.C., shall be deemed to be included in this drug tariff and to be pharmaceutical requirements for the purposes hereof.
Table of Materials excluded from Tariff
Except in so far as the same are hereinafter specifically allowed, the following materials, notwithstanding that a monograph thereon or formula thereof may appear as aforesaid, shall not be deemed to be included in this drug tariff:-
(a) Materials unconditionally excluded.-Materials expressly excluded by the N.Z.F.; cosmetics, soaps, tooth-pastes, tooth-powders, all other toilet preparations; insectexterminators, insect-repellants; cleansing agents generally.
(b) Materials allowed only if and when included in the N.Z.F. and then only to the extent (if any) therein specified.-Proprietary preparations; serums, vaccines, antitoxins; sterilized glucose solutions and sterilized salt-solutions.
