Price Order No. 650 (Amending Price Order No. 128) (Eggs)

Pursuant to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 650, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 128† (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 3rd day of February, 1947.

  3. The Second and Third Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 647‡, are hereby revoked, and the following Schedules substituted therefor respectively:

Price Order No. 651 (Amending Price Order No. 620) (Baking-powder manufactured by Quality Packers and Merchants, Ltd.)

Pursuant to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order:

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 651, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 620† (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 1st day of February, 1947.

  3. The principal Order in its application to "Q.P." cream of tartar baking-powder is hereby amended as follows:

(a) By omitting "156s.", "29s.", and "11s." from sub-clause (1) of clause 3, and substituting "125s.", "24s. 2d.", and "9s. 6d." respectively;

(b) By omitting "156s.", "29s.", and "11s." from sub-clause (1) of clause 4, and substituting "125s.", "24s. 2d.", and "9s. 6d." respectively;

(c) By omitting "16s.", "3s.", and "1s. 2d." from clause 5, and substituting "12s. 10d.", "2s. 6d.", and "1s." respectively, and by omitting "16s. 2d.", "3s. 0½d.", and "1s. 2½d." from the same clause, and substituting "13s.", "2s. 6½d.", and "1s. 0½d." respectively.

Sale of Unclaimed Property

It is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the Police at the various police-stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, the 15th February, 1947, be sold thereafter by public auction.

Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Superintendent or Inspector of Police in charge of the District.

Colours : Royal blue, navy blue, and white.
Badge : A reproduction of Myron's "Discobolus" on a shield. The shield above a scroll bearing the motto "Pergo et Perago."
