SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the Canterbury Land District, Ellesmere
County, known as Main's Farm Settlement Road, commencing at
its junction with Selwyn-Rakaia Road, and proceeding thence in a
south-easterly direction generally for a distance of 35 chains, more
or less, adjoining Lot 2, D.P. 7930, part Rural Sections 3117 and
3119, Blocks V and IX, Leeston Survey District. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125636,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

the Borough of Upper Hutt, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not

Pursuant to the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the
Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doith hereby authorize the Upper Hutt Borough Council to permit
the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty
feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the area of 4·64 perches adjoining
Lot 12, D.P. 13115, as shown on the plan referred to in the Schedule
hereto, and subject further to the condition that no building or part
of a building shall at any time be erected on the balance of the
land fronting the said street or on Lot 11, D.P. 13115, as shown
on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto, within a distance
of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, Borough of
Upper Hutt, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods
28·08 perches, more or less, being part Section 117, Hutt District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 125609, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Vesting in the Manawatu Catchment Board Control of Watercourses
in the Manawatu Catchment District

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section one hundred and thirty of the Soil Con-
servation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doith hereby direct as follows, viz.: That all water-
courses within the Manawatu Catchment District, whether natural
or constructed or hereafter to be constructed, together with all
machinery and appliances used therewith, but excepting therefrom
all water-supply races and stock-races which at the date of this
Order in Council are under the control of any local authority, shall
be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the
Manawatu Catchment Board on and after the seventeenth day of
July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doith hereby consent to the land described in
the Schedule hereto being taken for Post and Telegraph purposes
(line store, garage, and workshop).

Situated in Block XII, Greymouth Survey District (Borough

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Christchurch under the Public
Works Act, 1928

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the
Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public
work for which it was taken.

SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 9·9 perches, more or less, situate
in the City of Christchurch, being part of Lot 173 of the Christ-
church Town Reserves, and being all the land comprised in
Certificate of Title, Volume 225, folio 262 (Canterbury Registry).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6179, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
edged green.

Waipawa, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the
Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-
line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of
July, 1947
Present:

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the
Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doith hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the
Waipawa Borough Council on the twenty-third day of January,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, viz.:-

“ The Waipawa Borough Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the Borough of Waipawa, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to the north-western side of the portion of Rose Street
adjoining all that parcel of land containing five (5) acres,
more or less, situate in the Borough of Waipawa, being part
Block 56, Patangata Crown Grant District, and all the land
comprised in and described by Certificate of Title, H.B. Volume
75, folio 280, limited as to parcels ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side
of the portion of Rose Street (described in the Schedule hereto)
within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the
said portion of street.

SCHEDULE
THE north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the
Hawke's Bay Land District, Borough of Waipawa, known as Rose
Street, adjoining part Block 56, Patangata Crown Grant District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 125697, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
