RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Omnibus Loan, 1946, £10,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Timaru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on Omnibus Loan, 1946, of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Timaru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing three buses, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·233d. in the pound upon the whole amount of unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Timaru; and such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of eight years or until the loan is fully paid off."

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Timaru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on Flood Damage Loan, 1946, of £12,000, authorized to be raised by the Timaru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of renewing water-supply pipe-line crossings damaged by floods, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·145d. in the pound upon the amount of unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Timaru ; and that such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the lst day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off."

EDNA EMILY WAUCHOP, of Gisborne, Widow, hereby give notice that on the 16th day of June, 1947, I absolutely renounced and abandoned the use of my former surname of PARKER and in lieu thereof assumed and adopted the surname of WAUCHOP, so that I may henceforth be called and known not by my former surname of PARKER but by my assumed surname of WAUCHOP : And I further gave notice by a deed-poll dated the 16th day of June, 1947, and filed in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Gisborne on the 19th day of June, 1947, that I formally renounced and abandoned the said surname of PARKER and assumed and adopted the surname of WAUCHOP, so as to be at all times and for all purposes thereafter called and known as EDNA EMILY WAUCHOP and not EDNA EMILY PARKER.
