PURSUANT to Regulation 5:1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.

Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st July to 31st July, 1947:—

The Rotorua Milk Delivery Notice 1942, Amendment No. 6

PURSUANT to the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945,* the Minister of Marketing doth hereby give notice as follows:—

  1. This notice may be cited as the Rotorua Milk Delivery Notice 1942, Amendment No. 6, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Rotorua Milk Delivery Notice 1942† (hereinafter referred to as the principal scheme).

  2. Clause 6 of the principal scheme is hereby amended by revoking the words “A. A. Miller, Rotorua,” relating to deliveries in Zone No. 1, and substituting the words “W. J. Waters, of Rotorua.”

Central Boot Repairs, Ltd., 305 Great North Road, Surrey Crescent, Auckland, has applied for a licence to manufacture children’s footwear by the machine-sewn process.

Pharmacy Industry

R. E. Salter, 14 Bayview Terrace, Ravensbourne, Dunedin, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy in premises to be erected at 193 North Road, Dunedin.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 17th July, 1947, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Acting-Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

I, JACK DAVIS, Returning Officer for the purposes of the election of four (4) producers’ representatives for appointment to the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Committee, established by the Nelson Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1940, made under the Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare the results of the elections on the polls which closed at Wellington at noon on the 25th day of June, 1947, for the two vacancies on the Northern and for the two vacancies on the Southern Ward, to be as follows:—
