then down the middle of the said stream and the middle of the
Tawarau River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary
of Section 4, Block XV, Kawhia South Survey District ; then
along a right line, to and along the south-eastern and north-eastern
boundaries of Section 4 aforesaid, the generally north-eastern bound-
ary of Section 3 of Block XV aforesaid, and a right line being that
boundary produced to the middle of the Mangatuahaua Stream ; then
down the middle of the said stream to a point in line with the
south-eastern boundary of Section 8, Block XI, Kawhia South
Survey District ; then along a right line, to and along the said
south-eastern boundary, and along another right line being the
last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Lemon Point–
Waitomo Caves Main Highway ; then easterly along the middle of the
said main highway to a point in line with the south-eastern bound-
ary of Lot 10, as shown on the plan numbered 7826, deposited as
aforesaid, being part Section 4, Block XII, Kawhia South Survey
District ; then along a right line, to and along the said south-
eastern boundary and the generally eastern boundaries of Lots 9,
8, 7, and 6, as shown on the plan numbered 7318 aforesaid, being
parts Sections 4, 5, and 7 of the said Block XII, and a right line
being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the
Mahoe Road ; then westerly along the middle of that road to a
point in line with the generally eastern boundary of Section 5B,
Block VIII, Kawhia South Survey District ; then along a right
line to and along the said eastern boundary and the eastern bound-
ary of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 12587 aforesaid, to
the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 6, deposited in the office
of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department,
and thereon bordered red.

(b) All that area in the Auckland and Taranaki Land Districts,
situated in the County of Waitomo, bounded by a line commencing
in Block II, Pakaumanu Survey District, being a point in the
middle of the Waipa River in line with the southern boundary of
Lot 5, as shown on the plan numbered 14919, deposited in the
office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being parts
Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 35G Nos. 2A, 2B, and 2C Blocks, and running
south-easterly generally up the middle of the said river to a point
in line with the south-eastern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 48B 2C
Block ; then along a right line, to and along the said south-
eastern boundary and the south-western boundary of the said
Rangitoto A No. 48B 2C Block, along the south-western boundaries
of Rangitoto A Nos. 48B 2A 2 and 48B 2A 1 Blocks, the south-
western and north-western boundaries of Rangitoto A No. 50B 2
Block, and a right line being the last-mentioned boundary pro-
duced to the middle of the aforesaid Waipa River ; then again
southerly generally up the middle of the said river to a point in
line with the south-eastern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 67B 1A
Block ; then along a right line, to and along the said south-
eastern boundary, the south-western, south-eastern, and north-
eastern boundaries of part Rangitoto A No. 60B Block, the north-
eastern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 49B 2 Block, along the south-
eastern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 30B Block, the south-western
boundary of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 7232, deposited
as aforesaid, being part Rangitoto A No. 28 Block, to and along the
south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1 and the south-
eastern boundary of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 7232
aforesaid, being part Rangitoto A No. 40 Block, along the south-
western boundaries of Rangitoto A No. 29A Block, part Rangitoto
B Block, Section 1, Block IX, Ranginui Survey District, and a
right line across the said Section 1, to and along another part of
the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Rangitoto B Block to
its southernmost corner ; then along the north-western boundary
of Maraeroa B 3A Block to a point being the intersection of the said
north-western boundary with a right line between Trig. Station 1641,
Rangitoto, in Block IV, Pakaumanu Survey District, and the source
of the Ongarue River ; then south-easterly along the said right line
to the said source of the Ongarue River ; then westerly generally
down the middle of the said river to a point in line with the north-
eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 54A 2 Block ; then
along a right line, to and along the said north-eastern boundary,
the generally northern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 36A 1B
2B 2B, 36A 1B 2B 2A, and 36A 1B 2B 1 Blocks, the eastern and northern
boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 37B 3 Block, crossing the inter-
secting Waimiha River, the northern boundary of part Rangitoto-
Tuhua No. 37B 4 Block, the northern and western boundaries of
part Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 37B 5 Block, and the western boundary
of another part 37B 5 Block aforesaid, to and along the northern
and western boundaries of Lot 1 of Section 2, Block III, Pahi
Survey District, and along the western boundary of Section 1 of
the said Block III, to and along the north-western boundaries of
Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. 78B 2A 1, 78B 2A 2C, 78B 2A 2B, 78B 2A 2A,
part 78B 2H, part 78B 2D, and part 78B 2E Blocks to the north-
eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 79H 2B 2A 1 Block ;
then northerly generally along the said north-eastern boundary
and the north-eastern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. 79H 1B 3,
part 79H 1A, part 79G 1, 79G 2C, 79G 2B, and part 79G 2A Blocks,
and a right line across a public road, to and along the eastern
boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. 68I 2A 2B 3, 68I 2A 2B 4,
68I 2A 1, and 68H 1 Blocks, to and along the southern boundaries
of Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. 79B 2A and 79B 2B Blocks, the southern
boundaries of Section 13, Block X, Mapara Survey District, and
Section 1, Block XIV, Mapara Survey District, and a right line
across the Maniaiti Road, to and along the southern and eastern
boundaries of Section 1, Block I, Pahi Survey District, and the
eastern boundary of Section 2 of the said Block I, to and along the

southern boundary of Section 4 of the said Block I, and the southern
and eastern boundaries of Section 5 of the aforesaid Block I, the
south-eastern boundary of Section 6 of the said Block I, across a
road, and along the generally eastern boundary of Section 12 of
Block I aforesaid, a right line across a public road, to and along
another part of the eastern boundary of Section 12 aforesaid, and
along the eastern boundary of Section 13 of the aforesaid Block I,
and a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to
the middle of the Mokau River ; then westerly generally down
the middle of the said river to a point in line with the middle of
Kopaki East Road ; then north-easterly along a right line, to and
along the middle of the said road to a point in line with the
north-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block X, Pakaumanu Survey
District ; then north-westerly generally along a right line, to and
along the said north-eastern boundary and the north-eastern
boundaries of Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block IX, Pakaumanu Survey
District, to and along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of
Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. part 68C, 68F 1, 68O, 68A 2A, and 68A 2B
Blocks, the south-eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 64K
Block, the abuttal of a public road, again the south-eastern bound-
ary of the aforesaid No. 64K Block, the south-eastern boundary of
Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 64L Block, and a right line being the last-
mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Ahoroa Road ;
then easterly generally along the middle of the said public road
to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua
No. 68A 1 Block ; then along a right line, to and along the said
eastern boundary, the southern boundaries of Section 13, Block I,
Pakaumanu Survey District, and part Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 26F
2D 1 Block, the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of
Lot 3, and the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 4 and 5, as shown
on the plan numbered 14919 aforesaid, and a right line being the
last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Waipa
River, the point of commencement. As the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 6, deposited in the
office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Depart-
ment, and thereon bordered red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described
in the Schedule hereto being taken for a maternity home.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by section thirty-one of the Rabbit Nuisance Act,
1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General, at the request
of the Board of any rabbit district, may, by Order in Council,
alter and redefine the boundaries of its district :

And whereas the district known as the Wairarapa East Rabbit
District has been constituted under and for the purposes of the said
Act :

And whereas the Board of the said district has, pursuant to the
said section thirty-one of the said Act, requested that the boundaries
of its district be altered and redefined by excluding an area
therefrom :

And whereas it is deemed expedient to alter and redefine the
boundaries of the said district accordingly :
