5. ROUTES OF ELECTRIC LINES
(a) That route commencing at the licensee's power-house situated in Section 28, Whaingaroa Parish, Block II, Karioi Survey District, Auckland Land District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction through portion of the said Section 28, across an arm of Okete Bay, and through other portion of the said Section 28 to the licensee's pump, residence, milking-shed, and shearing-shed in the said Section 28.
(b) That route in Sections 28 and 103, Whaingaroa Parish, Block II, Karioi Survey District, branching from the licensee's electrical-reticulation system at a point in the said Section 28 between the road and the licensee's milking-shed, and thence proceeding across parts of the said Section 28, an arm of Okete Bay, and right-of-way to the residences near the easternmost corner of the said Section 103.
As the said routes are more particularly delineated on the said plan P.W.D. 125082, and thereon coloured blue.
6. DURATION OF LICENCE
This licence shall, unless sooner determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1968, or until electrical energy is available from any Electric-power Board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
7. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (a) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
8. RENTAL
For the purpose of assessing the rental or annual sum payable in respect of this licence, the licensee may install a suitable maximum-demand indicator to the satisfaction of the Inspecting Engineer of the State Hydro-electric Department, and, failing such installation, the rental shall be determined on the maximum capacity of the generating plant installed. The present plant is rated at 17 kilo-watts.

PURSUANT to section two hundred and forty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the alienation by way of transfer to and acquisition by the Whakatane Paper Mills, Limited, of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XII of the Native Land Act, 1931.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing 2 acres 3 roods 33-9 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 25604, and being part Parish of Rangitaiki Lot No. 29F No. 1, and being the whole of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 802, folio 139 (Auckland Registry).

Boundaries and Name of Ostend Road District altered

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section twenty-two of the Local Legislation Act, 1946, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, the boundaries of the Ostend Road District shall be altered by the inclusion therein of the area of land described in the First Schedule hereto; that the boundaries of the said road district with such addition as herein provided for shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto, and that the name of the Ostend Road District as so altered shall be changed to the Western Waiheke Road District.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AREA INCLUDED IN THE OSTEND ROAD DISTRICT
ALL that area of approximately 3,700 acres in the North Auckland Land District, situated on Waiheke Island, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block II, Waiheke Survey District, on the line of mean high-water on the western shores of Onetangi Bay, being the north-eastern corner of Lot 4, as shown on the plan numbered 13801, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Opopoto Block, and running south-westerly generally along the northern boundaries of the said Lot 4, and Lots 3, 2, and 1, as shown on the said plan numbered 13801, being parts of the said Opopoto Block, the north-western boundaries of Lots 38, 39, and 40, as shown on the plan numbered 11656, deposited as aforesaid, being parts of Opopoto, Waiheke, and Hoporata Blocks, the northern and north-western boundaries of a plantation reserve of an area of 2 roods and 38-8 perches, as shown on the plan numbered 15795, deposited as aforesaid, being parts of Waiheke, Mawhitipana, and Te Whakarite Blocks, the northern boundary of a plantation reserve of an area of 38 perches, as shown on the said plan numbered 15795, being portion of the said Te Whakarite Block, and along the northern boundaries of Lots 63, 62, 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, and 29, as shown on the said plan numbered 15795, being parts of Te Whakarite Block aforesaid, a right line across Bay Road, to and along the northern and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, as shown on the said plan numbered 15795, being part of Te Whakarite Block aforesaid, and the western boundaries of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, and the south-western boundaries of Lots 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and part of Lot 27, the aforesaid lots being shown on the plan numbered 15795 aforesaid, and being parts of Te Whakarite Block, and parts of Allotment 56 of the Parish of Waiheke, and a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road to the right bank of a stream, and down the said right bank to the line of mean high water on the shores of Putiki Bay ; thence generally westerly, northerly, and easterly along the line of mean high water on the southern, western, and northern shores of Waiheke Island aforesaid to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE WESTERN WAIHEKE ROAD DISTRICT
ALL that area of approximately 6,600 acres in the North Auckland Land District, situated on Waiheke Island, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block III, Waiheke Survey District, on the line of mean high water on the eastern shores of Onetangi Bay, being the north-western corner of Lot 22, as shown on the plan numbered 11657, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, being part of Allotment 41 of the Parish of Waiheke, and running easterly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 22, and southerly along the western boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 28342, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 97 of the said Parish of Waiheke, to and along the western side of a public road, to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 23, as shown on the said plan numbered 11657, being parts of Allotments 41 and 70 of the said Parish of Waiheke, to and along the northern and western boundaries of the northern portion of Allotment 64 of the Parish of Waiheke aforesaid, to and along the northern boundary of Allotment 71 of the said Parish of Waiheke, and a right line being that boundary produced across a public road, to and along the western side of that road, to and along the western boundary of the southern portion of Allotment 64 of the said Parish of Waiheke to the northern boundary of Lot 4, as shown on the plan numbered 24387, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Awa Awa Roa Block; thence westerly generally along the northern boundary of the said Lot 4 and the eastern and north-western boundaries of part of Whakanewha Block, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Rangihoua No. 1 Block, as shown on the plan numbered 1721, deposited as aforesaid, to the line of mean high water on the shores of Putiki Bay; thence generally westerly, northerly, and easterly along the line of mean high water of the southern, western, and northern shores of Waiheke Island aforesaid to the point of commencement.

WHEREAS the Otorohanga Town Board (hereinafter called the said local authority), being desirous of raising a loan of nine thousand pounds (£9,000), to be known as "Roads and Footpaths Improvement Loan, 1946" (hereinafter called the said loan), for the purpose of forming, metalling, and sealing roads, five thousand pounds (£5,000), and constructing concrete footpaths, four thousand pounds (£4,000), has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the raising of the said loan:
