At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 28th day of
May, 1947
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
P URSUANT to section forty of the Statutes Amendment Act,
1946, and all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby
authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by Leonard John
Fisher, of Kaikohe, Farmer, of the land described in the Schedule
hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of section one hundred
and seven of the Land Act, 1924.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty
of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto
being taken for better utilization.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken:
33 acres 1 rood 14:4 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 12900, being parts Subdivisions 6, 7, 8, and 9,
Koangaaumu Block, and being the whole of the land com-

Changing the Purpose of Reserves in Mamaku Village, Auckland
Land District

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for municipal endowment
purposes :
And whereas the land described in the Second Schedule hereto
s a reserve duly set apart for General Government buildings:
And whereas it is expedient that the purposes of the reservations
over such lands shall be changed to reserves for railway purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by
subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the
purposes of the reserves described in the First and Second Schedules
hereto are hereby changed from a reserve for municipal endowment
purposes and a reserve for General Government buildings, respec-
tively, to reserves for railway purposes.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
William Henry Gillespie, M.P.,
Ernest George Bennett,
Noel Watson Skurr,
Arthur Watson Inch,
Leslie Ernest Farr,
John Francis O'Loughlin, and
Alexander Millar Bennett
to be the Carleton Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Monday,
the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Carleton
Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be
held.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of
June, 1947
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
P URSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the
Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the
Wellington City Council on the nineteenth day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, viz.:-
" The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to that part of the southern side of Wade Street, fronting
part Section 70, Plan A/54 ";
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of
the portion of Wade Street (described in the Schedule hereto)
within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said
portion of street.
SCHEDULE
THE southern side of all that portion of street situated in
the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Wade
Street, fronting part Section 70 on the plan of the original sub-
division of Section 1, Harbour District, deposited in the office of
the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125523, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red.
