Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Pirongia Transport, Ltd., Pirongia, has applied for a license
to resell motor-spirit from one pump already installed on premises
at Pirongia.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than the 6th day of February,
1947, submit any written evidence and representations they may
desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the
Acting-Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

STATE FOREST SERVICE NOTICE
Land in the Southland Land District acquired for a State Forest
State Forest Service,
Wellington, 20th January, 1947.
NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule
hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act, 1921-22,
for the purposes of a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.-SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, Wallace County,
containing by admeasurement 723 acres 2 roods, more or less, being
part of Section 7, Block XII, Waiau Survey District, and being the
land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 135,
folio 105 ; as the same is delineated on plan No. 210/21, deposited
in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.

EVIDENCE of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 85, folio 12
(Auckland Registry), for 2 roods and 7 perches, more or less,

of the Te-Puru-o-te Rangi No. 2 Block, Ohinemuri Survey District,
whereof EDITH MARIA MORESBY, the wife of Tracy Archer
Moresby, of Paeroa, Solicitor, is the registered proprietor, having
been lodged with me together with an application for a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention
to issue such new certificate of title after fourteen days from the
23rd January, 1947.

TASMAN BAY SHIPPING COMPANY, LIMITED

January, 1947, a special resolution was passed that the company

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
TN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Tauranga
County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of Β£2,300, authorized to be raised by the Tauranga
County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
purchasing two dwellings and outbuildings situate at Te Puke,
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 14d. in the pound upon the
rateable (unimproved) value of all rateable property in the County
of Tauranga; and that such special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
half-yearly on the 1st day of June and December in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years
or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the 6th day
of January, 1947.
