ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of May, 1947

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Gisborne Land District, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Te Puia Hospital Board, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Waiapu County Council, ex officio,
Alistair Jones Grant,
James William Smith,
John Hill Sutherland,
Tawhai Tamepo,
Hami Te Rapu, and
Oscar Nero Winter

to be the Te Puia Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Waiapu County Chambers, Te Puia Springs, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—TE PUIA DOMAIN

SECTIONS 27, 28, and 29, Te Puia Suburbs: Area, 12 acres 3 roods 23 perches, more or less.

Section 137, Te Puia Suburbs, being the Ratahi Lagoon: Area, 6 acres 3 roods, more or less.

Also Sections 1 to 5 (inclusive) and 10, Block IV, Te Puia Township: Area, 3 acres 3 roods 36·7 perches, more or less.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Alexander Fleming,
Mark Edward McAuley,
John William Andrew,
Robert Haugh, and
Edgar Arnold

to be the Black Gully Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Crookston Public Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Uawa Survey District, Gisborne Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of May, 1947

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for municipal purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for buildings of the General Government:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for municipal purposes to a reserve for buildings of the General Government.

ALL that area situated in Block XII, Uawa Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Sections 1 and 2, Block XVI, Township of Tolaga Bay (formerly Township of Buckley). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4831, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Town of Wyndham, Southland Land District

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for defence purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a site for a public hall:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for defence purposes to a reserve for a site for a public hall.

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 4·6 perches, more or less, being that part of Section 19, Block V, Town of Wyndham, shown on D.P. 873, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 81, folio 223 (Southland Land Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/11/152, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Recreation Reserve in the Wellington Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of May, 1947

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Alfredton Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Alfredton Domain Board.
